Any business generating fuel/energy, is going to power their own processes before anything else!

A key question is, what percentage of the recovered fuel/energy is required to power a PHE facility? If it's 10%, fine, but if it's 50%, that reduces the profit opportunity.

Personally, I'd like to see councils operating them for recycling and consuming all the fuel/energy in-house. It deals with the plastic waste issue and will save them a fortune on their energy bills.

For PHE, it makes it less of a commercial offering, but I'd take that over the plastic waste problem and enabling councils to redirect the savings elsewhere.

My question....'is now the best time to buy and will it go from 10p to £10 in 2 years, or are you not as positive as Adam Bond with your predictions' ;)

It was discussed months ago, within exactly the same topic as now, the viability of a getting 40tn commercial unit up running, tested and signed off. Along with who is going to pay for a non tested commercial unit, that is regulatory approved!

Not to mention the fact PHE might not have the time/cashflow to go that big before revenue is needed

While I can't stand Trump, he's very pro crypto and has done wonders for my portfolio of crypto mining stocks, AI data centres and hardware (HPC etc), all going crazy.

I would not be surprised to see PHE launch a smaller 10t unit in Ireland or North Macedonia.

From Q1's tests, I suspect they'll be looking at what plastic products produce what levels of different off takes. That will enable them to calculate the value of the recycled off takes (fuel, hydrogen etc) and decide if a small unit is viable as a commercial, saleable, profitable unit, or will it need to be 20tn or 40tn.

Smaller is likely to generate quicker and easier revenues to ensure the business remains a going concern and doesn't have to raise more funds.

I appreciate scooby, you felt the customers should be responsible for working this out, but if PHE can't tell me how much a unit / facility is going to generate in revenue for me, then I'm not interested. Fortunately I think these tests will give them the basis to provide customers with this essential information.

No one has said it’s not possible to scale up, just it’s not a walk in the park. There will be difficulties to over come etc! Others have failed.
