Having read the release, the news was far from positive. There's nothing to really suggest that 2025 is going to be any different to 2024, which is the worry.

There's a few like that on here, impossible to work out their motive for the amount of time and misery they invest talking something down. I don't really buy in to anyone being paid to do it (although it's a possibility), but besides shorters, they could be ex-employees, ex contractors, suppliers and amazingly you get investors from other shares coming on to slate AFC; all for our benefit / doing us a favour.

I think one or two also don't understand how markets work and are resentful that they bought in high, could have sold at 80p+, were greedy and have watched it drop to here.

I'd say an RNS has to be imminent regarding the commissioning of the test unit. The preference has to be w/c 9th December for maximum effect and PR.

W/c 16th is the latest, but only gives a week of focus before people switch off for Christmas

For me - I feel we can assume PHE already have a good idea of what the test results will show for the various off takes, having used the demo unit as a guide.

Therefore, they will know who the system will appeal to and importantly, be viable form them to run at cost (councils) or profit (commercial entities); who presumably they must be reaching out to already.

Customers will need to know what the off take percentages are to calculate what revenue they can generate from the mix.

If the CEO and Chairman have agreed to not use use hydrogen production as a key marketing point for the units/facilities, then maybe it's fair to assume the off-take volume and or purity is not going to be great.

Either way, PHE will know who they’re targeting and I doubt crypto and other leftfield uses will be top of that list.

Hopefully they will confirm all of this and their anticipated markets after these latest tests.

I've launching a new business next year and have done a lot of word on grants and funding. There is an awful lot already available to PHE, where they do match the criteria for carbon reduction etc. Hopefully someone is on to that.

Even as a bare minimal, they can claim back all the tax and % of costs on any NPD they carry out, which must be pretty much everything they're spending money on ATM.

Someone on this board, once claimed to have contact AFC and asked for a quote on a fuel cell, but never got a reply!

IMO - PHE would not qualify under the criteria for this funding.

I'd agree that I think there will be more cash in the bank: From the Audited Results as at 31st Dec 2023:

· Revenue for 2023 was £181k (2022: £380k).

· The Group reported an operating loss (pre-exceptional items) in 2023 of £1.8m (2022: £2.1m). Significant savings in administrative expenses driven by the Board.

· Cash at bank of £4.34m (2022: £5.9m).
