I posted an interview a while ago with Alex (HUI), where she said she was getting through all the red tape and EIA approvals for their waste to energy site in Macedonia.

I wonder if this site is closer to planning than Longford?

Seems like an awful lot is very reliant on HW. PE must be in very regular contact with him.

If they're further advance with that site than thought, it could be very good for the SP.

HW has a long standing history with Longford. He had another company there for 50 years which has been recently dissolved. The web of companies he's linked to does make you apprehensive - lol

Divvyup - I wasn't sure following PHE's comments in the Annual Report, what the plans are for Longford. It seems to be on the back burner as much as I can see and HUI appear to be working on another European site, so not sure if it's front of mind for them.

Would have been helpful to get more of an update on this at the AGM. Need to do more research to see what is happening.

This is from September last year - "Alister Future Technologies has signed an option for lease on Fisherstown Energy Park, Longford, Rep. of Ireland. PHE and HUI are working together to move the project forward."

Without looking in to it further after the weekend, I'm not even sure if the lease option was taken up. So it could be a case of no change to date!

It's certainly what the Chairman and CEO of PHE have said for a while and clearly stated in the last Annual report.

But what do they know, they just run the company. Castle's lobbying to have government policy changed to ensure PHE's hydrogen is reclassified as Green H2 - PSML :)))

Castle probably knows more on this than all of us, so we'll have to wait for the Oracle to return with the definitive

answer ;)

Meanwhile, my opinion is YES. Plenty of renewable energy available to power electrolysers and create green hydrogen, along with vast swathes of land to build huge production facilities on. One of the bigger obstacles is probably the network required to move it around, but there'll be solutions to that.

The other option is increase the number of Ammonia plants. These already exist in large quantities and have a distribution network in already place.

Australia however, will still need a solution to deal with their plastic waste!
