any agreement can fail to complete ;that has nothing to do with whether the agreement was binding or not. Since we all think Stocken got deal of the century they will pay the agreed sum. If pog refuses to do as it agreed ,they can be sued and have no defence.

The bod does not have any control over the bank, does it ? the bank is not involved in the sale transaction. It`s only interest is in maintaining the loan guarantee it had.

Surely the normal thing to sell the stake would be to employ some industry experts to locate a buyer however PM made an agreement with Stocken ( who noone knew owt about)providing for S to get out if conditions deteriorated BUT POG COULD NOT. No I am/was an admirer of russell brand. yes, I do know a lot but the way the world has gone since 1987 crash brought forth the PPT knowledge is not enough, you need psychiatry and many other things. Today the 10 year treasury yield shot up , hit gold but dint affect stawks as they don`t want that . the yield gone back down now but gold not recovered. seems to be a kind of crescendo possibly related to the end june Basil 3 so one hopes the next month will be a lot better..
