European stocks lower ahead of data, earnings4 May 2020 07:56
Major European stock markets traded significantly lower premarket on Monday amid renewed tension between the United States and China. On data, investors were waiting for European Union's and Germany's manufacturing PMI reports, as well as corporate earnings set to be released today.
The FTSE 100 surrendered 0.82% at 7:4 am ET, while the DAX tumbled 3.55%.
The euro was down 0.43% against the dollar at 7:45 am ET, selling for $1.09342.
