I would imagine the aim is to produce copper concentrate and sell it on to smelters.

There is a lot of copper smelting that goes on in Europe.
Poland, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Russia (payment in advance only LOL).

So this may mean that there are some tailings with high copper percentage as compared to modern tailings.

The ADC aspect of Avidimab certainly looks exciting on top of enhanced avidity to any mAb.

Scancell's stated strategy is to accumulate clinical data before dealing.
For cancer trials this would normally mean a phase1/2 trial. They have already run a successful p1/2 trial and are planning to start 2 more this year.
For Covidity it may well be different in that the obvious point to deal would be after a phase 1 trial.
A sensible strategy since clinical data leads to much better deals. But who knows if CEPI are impressed with pre-clinical data?

The exception to this strategy was their 3rd platform of Avidimab and the glycans mAbs. They were on the verge of executing a deal here when Redmile created that pile of cash. As a result, they withdrew from negotiations to further develop this platform.

Yes, the non-staring of both the SCIB1 and the Modi1 trial have frustrated us investors for a number of years.

Again, for people new to Scancell, the Modi1 trail is awaiting confirmation that the manufacture is complete. This has been a long and difficult process due to the 3 conjugates making up the vaccine being hydrophobic. The last we heard those problems had been overcome, and there just remained the combining of the 3 conjugates. So this appears to be the last hurdle before the trial can start.
Again it will depend upon getting the green light from the trial centres.
To my knowledge, a list of the centres has not been published. Having said that, Scancell have created a clinical advisory board (CAB) comprising 6 clinical experts so maybe the working locations of these 6 clinical professors gives us a clue.
In phase 1, as well as determining safety and best dose, immune responses are sought from 4 hard to treat cancers. These are currently head & neck, triple negative breast, ovarian and renal cancers. If a suitable immune response is found in any of these cancers, this will result in a phase 2 trial for that cancer. So the trial could branch out into up to 4 phase 2 trials.
I would be nice to get this trial going soon since it could be a real game changer.
