Let's hope the T Cell response is also key for the Indian Variant and perhaps any future variants.
We do know that Covidity is skewed towards T Cell responses rather than antibodies although VNAbs are also generated.
And given that:
a) T Cells responses are much enhanced by Immunobody in both avidity and numbers
b) Avidimab further adds to the response
c) there is a new delivery method much admired by Lindy
d) the all important N protein is also targeted

This all augurs well for Covidity being able to cope with all variants.
Of course, only trials will prove this.

If Scancell had won the GC, how would that have effected Scancell's ownership of the IP of Modi3? How far would 20 million go when split over the membership of the team.
The Trinity research note at the time made these 2 points before the results were announced. I just wonder since these research notes are paid for by Scancell, whether it was the company itself making these points.
Now we find that modi3 is being researched by Scancell alone with a great deal more money in the kitty.

As far as Covidity is concerned, there will be T Cell targets on both the S and the N proteins.
Given that the avidity of these T Cells will be strong by virtue of Immunobody's dual presentation and further strengthened by Avidimab, Covidity should be in with a great shout.
I can't help thinking that, as usual with Lindy's research, avidity will be key to success.

I would also say that the MHRA treated discussions and CTAs for first generation Covid19 vaccines with a great deal of urgency for obvious reasons. There is likely to be less urgency for 2nd generation vaccines.

With so many projects going on at Scancell, I would have thought a 3 monthly update with a brief description of progress or lack of it on each project would be appropriate.
For some projects we only get an update at the AGM.
