None of the 4 vacancies require a PhD. They are strengthening their development team and adding manufacturing support.

I don't recall Scancell ever posting vacancies on their website but I may be wrong in this.
Obviously they are filling vacancies in their new Oxford lab.

The company do seem to be moving ahead with confidence.

This article is interesting in that way back in 2012 Lindy recognised the importance of high avidity T Cells for attacking both tumours and viral infections. At this time the SCIB1 trial had started but the initial results had not yet been published.

"High avidity cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) are important in viral clearance and anti-tumor immunity, however, mechanisms for their optimal generation and maintenance in vivo remain unclear. Immunizing mice with an antibody-DNA vaccine encoding a single CTL epitope, induces a 100 fold higher avidity response than peptide vaccination with the identical epitope."

Just a case of Covid staying in the news, and Scancell's Covidity being a possible big step forward in providing long lasting immunity and protection against all variants.
Maybe the T Cell responses measured in the upcoming P1 trial will help to confirm this (especially the N protein responses)

Well we know Lindy had plans for further research for each of the glycans mAbs as outlined in the last AGM presentation. This is to add value to the research already carried out.
We also know that Zakari means sugar in Greek.
We also know that it was always the plan to do deals on the glycans mAbs pre-clinical.
Another factor is that if Covidity shows success then Avidimab will automatically be worth more and it becomes an important component in future Immunobody trials.

So one guess is that Avidimab will be kept in-house as the 3rd platform whilst looking for deals on the glycans mAbs that each include an Avidimab licence thrown in but only for that mAb.

Being able to change gear would be an added bonus

What slightly puzzles me is that in the for the Tavo combo trial you are injecting Tavo into the tumour but still combining it with Keytruda when previously the patient was resistant to Keytruda on its own. I guess the thinking must be that weakening the tumour with Tavo will mean that Keytruda becomes more effective. To me, the expected synergy between SCIB1 and Keytruda seems more obvious with the theory being that Keytruda helps to clear the way for the attack by the SCIB1 activated T Cells.

For balance, the above headlines the results of the phase 2 trial with an ORR of 30%.
From memory, I think Lindy is looking for an ORR of 55% in the phase 2 SCIB1/Keytruda trial.

Can we expect an RNS for the Modi1 CTA when we already know how the trial is designed? Also it could take some time before it is approved or, worst case scenario which is probably unlikely, it doesn't get approved.

Covidity was different since it was the first time we were informed on how Scancell have designed the P1 trials.

It is quite relaxing to see events going in the right direction with 1 trial resumed (albeit no patients yet recruited and dosed) and 2 further trials very likely to start soon.

It is also worth mentioning that an Immunobody vaccine can have multiple targets. In the case of SCIB2 it has 16 targets, so maybe Lindy is already trying to cover targets that are likely to appear at different stages of the cancer's progression.

For the mice they use a single strand of thin copper, dip it in vaccine and connect to the mains.

Interesting and we were not told about this in the recent RNS.
I wonder if Lindy wants to compare immune responses using electoporation as compared to the new delivery method.

As an investor I rather like the doldrums.
We currently see a great buying opportunity IMO.
