I would say the submission is in.
The same happened with the SCIB1/Keytruda submission to the FDA. From memory the submission was in July but we only got to know about it on or just before the AGM that year.

It could have been the cleaner dusting the keyboards.

Modi1 exploits citrullination and Modi2 exploits homocitrullination.
The chemistry leading to these 2 processes seems to be distinct and both could occur on a given tumour.
This is perhaps why Lindy stated that she is very excited about combining Modi1 and Modi2.

Being a brilliant scientist and also a talented CEO are not mutually exclusive.
Having said that, I would not want Lindy's CEO responsibilities to interfere with her science leadership.
That's why I think this may be a temporary move.

I recall a remark attributed to Richard Goodfellow way back. I can't remember the exact words but the gist of it was that at meetings with big pharma, Lindy always impressed.
It's that conviction that her science has a large part to play in the fight against cancer that is always apparent. That conviction was always sadly lacking when CH was talking about the science.

Who knows what precipitated this.
It could be long term dissatisfaction with his performance or it could be a more recent event. Perhaps Redmile and/or Vulpes had a hand in this.
In one respect it is totally logical for Lindy to be in charge or her own pipeline, but it may be they are already looking for a more permanent successor in order that once again Lindy can concentrate on the science.

Wow, not the RNS we were expecting.
I just wonder if Lindy was just not happy with Cliff's performance.
May be just temporary though.
