Seems to be a bit of a bounce today. Hopefully you're right STrader. Been waiting a while for some contract news. Down to £8m Mcap, only £65m shares on issue this will fly on some good news

Cheers CS I scribbled a quick calc this morning and came to the same (less accurate) conclusion. I was wondering how the impending expansion would impact their div policy, worst case scenario they put it on hold for a fundraising but that's not the case. Market seems to have taken it (or no one has bothered with any sums). Now that that's settled the next question is how much will Kekura cost and how will they pay for it? My personal preference is for them to gear up to the eyeballs, they will make money under any price

has returned again today. Pt prices taken a good rinsing over the last week, obviously not a concern to this buyer

I think they are burning through £300-400k per month so the cash the cash that was raised a few months ago may be gone soon. If they need to tap the market it will be at a vastly discounted price (if they can at all). Volume is pitiful so it doesn't seem like anyone with a significant stake has cashed out but there is zero reason to buy this in the absence of any contract news. T this one might be a fizzer, the directors perhaps overconfident in their execution in winning over the big companies. If its any consolation the directors bought into this much larger than any of us and got burned as well. But there is still time and often patience is rewarded in this game.

Brilliant news. I can understand the BoD's decision to fundraise now rather than wait for cash flow when they have this tremendous opportunity and instos falling over themselves to fund it. I bought a few more, I don't think we'll see 14p again now that the company is fully funded and generating cash flow.

Did notice in the announcement the latest basket price. The big unknown is what kind of discount will be suffered under the off take agreement and it will be interesting to see how this changes over time. At 5000 tpa, even with a big discount, this is large number for a £20 mcap

Cash was always going to be tight. Officially for development but I'm sure there is an element of working capital funding. I'll look at topping up if I can get some for 14. Its not a huge discount but its a shame they couldn't take on some debt, that would have been a huge vote of confidence. As usual SP has been falling leading into the news...

One of the lowest cost miners in the world, large resource base, a plethora of expansion projects, bringing an extra 200koz on stream in the next 2 years, up 300% over the last 2 years (excluding divis)... can't argue with that.

Not surprised to see some profit taking when anyone who bought this year will be sitting on a profit. I can't see the SP pushing back up past 60p without any news so I sold a few myself. But I like the LT prospects and any further dip close to 50p will be a buying opportunity

Resource companies in a bit of a sweet spot this week after some solid Chinese data and USD weakness offsetting the rise in copper inventory last week. Consensus is now very encouraging with 2018 P/E around 7.5 and a dividend yield of 6%. Given this is similar to what CAML was pre-acquisition there is potential for a re rate given the diversification now offered.

Tasty rise today signalling that HGM is firmly range bound between 140 and 160, and has been since April. Probably fair enough given PoG is exactly where it was in April. Expecting Kekura update any day, news of an additional 200koz production and a potential strategic partnership or financing might just do the trick to get get this moving up again

I've often wondered that myself Ashton. Kenny has a reputation for being the aggressor, despite being much larger targets. But there has never been any mention of a takeover of GVC. There was an article out yesterday mentioning how easily Ladbrokes have capitulated and allowing Kenny to dictate the terms of the acquisition around who is running the business in the future.

I second that TBT. It's a massive punt but I've lost on safer bets. The only rare earth mine in Africa, one of the largest producers globally in year 1 with upside exploration potential. With proximity to Europe and very near term production and I'm happy to leave a smallish stake and look forward to newsflow over the next 6 months.

I would be surprised to see GVC leave the contract in the hands of one of their competitors when this would be a massive opportunity to cut cost and move onto their own platform. But this will take time as you say and I topped up at 8.04 this morning. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price. Good start to the recovery so far. After deducting for LCL holding, Plus500 shares and net cash the P/E looks more like sub 10 which seems pretty reasonable value

Under the terms of the Bwin acquisition the BoD couldn't pay a dividend until certain leverage was achieved. They achieved this much faster than expected and managed to refinance the remaining debt at much more favourable rates and paid a special dividend as a result. I suspect the same limits may be applied under any future acquisition, but as they have stated in the announcement net debt/EBITDA would be only 3x which isn't excessive. But who needs a dividend when the price keeps going up like this? I've sold so many times in the past to keep my exposure within my limits after price appreciation, which is the same as getting a dividend anyway. And they have phenomenal double digit growth opportunities to reinvest in and can do much better with the cash than I would anyway.

Hopefully the background buying continues, if not, I'll happy take on a few more at sub 13p At a P/E of 5 and paying a dividend/buyback we get to 20p+. I won't sell any for a penny lower

It seems that the market is concerned with PTECs contract with Ladbrokes, it would probably make sense for GVC to shift business onto their platform rather than stick with a competitor. On the plus side PTEC's has a fairly large chunk of Ladbrokes shares which have just increased in value substantially

Delayed from yesterday. That's why there was a rush of selling late afternoon - sudden injection of liquidity. Now its all locked up again. You can't sell anything for more than 13 and can buy for just below 14. Large trades been happening in the background, I wonder what's moving around?

So are we topping up? I'm guessing that the market had factored some kind of premium into the price thinking GVC might be interested
