In Singapore, private limited companies (Pte Ltd) are required to file their financial statements with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). However, access to these financial statements depends on the company’s size and filing status:
1. For Small Companies:
• If a company qualifies as a small company (with revenue and total assets below SGD 10 million), it may be exempt from filing full financial statements.
• In such cases, only limited financial information may be available.
2. For Larger Companies:
• If a company does not qualify as a small company, it is required to file full financial statements with ACRA.
• These records can be purchased via ACRA’s BizFile+ portal.
