The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Leave the personal insults folks, it’s embarrassing.
The scenario presented is feasible, but so are many others.
I would like some clarify from Avacta on what is happening with LFT, the ‘sell all we can make’ comment is biting us all on the ass at the moment. Is it dead in the water, or are we refining it with a view that covid will be back to haunt us again this winter?
Scumbags. That must include me. A shareholder with a different view to the original poster.
Thanks for the continued effort to hurl abuse at anyone with a different opinion relating to this share.
I love the abuse folks, its what I expected. A few genuine comments above, but the usual abuse when the post doesn’t fit peoples agenda. C0ckland etc. it doesn’t hurt me folks, it humours me.
I am invested here, and have been for 18 months or so, which is why I continue to post. I read the comments, I do my own research.
Thx for the responses.
… and still, we have people on here that say ‘when the LFT comes back on sale’…. ‘When we cure cancer’.
I’m in this balls deep. I’ve woken up tho. When are folks going to realise that this is a sinking ship? When are folks going to pass fair judgement? How much more can people take?
We’ve dropped 18% in a single day. Yes this aim. Yes the variability can be huge. Yet this could go back up, but come on, take the blinkers off.
@travel_light - My thoughts exactly. I am an Avacta shareholder. It pains me to see the share price today. Part of this was my own naivety... like you say, getting carried away with "its just 2 weeks away". I feel like every time I post on here I'm a detractor. I'm not, I've just learnt my lesson the hard way and now hoping that this share picks up, but I don't see it happening. Our golden ticket (from what we were led to believe) was the best LFT in the world. But maybe only to those people on this message board. Every other country/organisation/person purchased a LFT from elsewhere Hence us heading to sub 50p.
@Watching2 I agree with you. I have only been positive too. But come on, there does come a point when you have to say enough is enough.
We have the best test. We might have a cure for cancer. Come on. Seriously?
Are we not doing this to make money? This isn’t making many people on here money is it?
It’s embarrassing.
"Says to me that the covid crowd and the uninformed chancers have departed for sunnier shores."
So I was part of the 'covid crowd'. I must have also been an 'uninformed chancer'. I'm guessing you were the complete opposite. You were never here for anything related to covid. And you were all over this share so much, that you made a mint following the drop from £2.90 to 60p. You must be a clever guy. Please, share your secret with us.
@hunkymonkey Again, I agree on all points. Especially on the toxic and often abusive stuff if your opinion differs from others.
I bought in at a higher price. I gained a lot. Lost a lot. Now playing around with the share in an attempt to get a bit back.
Overall I’m very disappointed with how this turned out and learnt a lot of lessons over the last 18 months.
That’s right, blame the government for our ‘best in the world’ covid test not selling and then eventually not working and being taken off sale (to all over those European countries)…. Oh yeah, and North America. Definitely the governments fault, all of it.
…is what this share price is. Is what this company is. Is what this CEO is.
Someone posted a few days ago that this share ‘could’ be £40.00 very soon. It could also follow ODX and be less than 10p very soon.
Big Al knew exactly what he was doing when he cashed in some of his shares. He was talking a good game but bailing himself out at the same time.
It’s a shame the rest of us were sucked in by the constant flow of positive RNSs.
@icecool 'If' efficacy 'and' PK data are 'better' than expected 'or even' meeting expectations! It will prove the entire precision platform, 'if' that’s the case. £40 is 'probably' on the low side.
You said it all yourself. Look at LFTs. If, buts and maybes. We all invested in these. We were at £2.90, mainly based on this. We're now at 67p.
'If', Avacta continues to under deliver, this share price 'could' be 20p in a few years time.
