Only at Christmas time and I was well rewarded for my efforts with fillet steak and first choice for all the extra Christmas and summer holiday hours. I see you were bemoaning the lack of anything relevant to talk about here until the results SL and russell was talking about too much comment on the pog bb. You don't say russell and the main poster on there isn't even invested! Spent a few months on the hoc bb and apparently sold up at a loss after a meteoric rally in the share price so certainly left me scratching my head. The rsa bb. W H Smith - much loved target for the professional shorters since Kate's swan song- along with sainsbury and hmv. Well yes I did know they were charging for bags - not sturdy enough for two reduced bashed box Thorntons Grufallo chocolate advent calendars and 2 annuals. Busy enough though at motorway service stations, train stations if not on the High Street and at Glasgow airport. I have a hmv Fopp bag for life in unused condition - could become a collector's item- a bit like the old bank of scotland ads bos a friend for life lol. Okay I am concerned about the environment but have to admit to curbing my spending in M & S foodhall because of the bag charge and often buy granny clothes there because the bags are free and can port the food and the clothes can be returned at a later date not too much later date now though. I recycle when I can remember and until my gin bottle smashes through a hole. Just struck me that the ex divi date here will also be later than last year - let's hope the payment date doesn't move forward as well. Don't live anywhere near each other and besides their globetrotting days have been curbed although one of them gets out more than I do and has a full diary of engagements. Mind you one is easily recognisable from her M & S carriers. They have been charging for bags in the foodhall for a long time now. Guy on supermarket checkout told me his company are planning to start charging. It's called protecting the environment I think.

lol I didn't have time to do the museums but next time for sure. I take it your daughter is studying in Edinburgh. Very posh and used to not accept 17 year olds but that might have changed. LOL I was supposed to be paying the train fares and for the birthday lunch but, as luck would have it, I had left my credit card on the table at home. Never one to want to cause any unnecessary upset in life if it can be avoided. A bit of a modern day twist on hiding your lover in the closet when your spouse returns home from work early lol. I cook lunch for the mums-in-law on separate days. I think I've managed to pull it off except that I had to say it was the electrician who had answered the phone one day and mum-in-law number one thought my son had had a sudden growth spurt when she spotted some shoes in the house. Spotted, there's a tesco and a co-op in Oban - both fairly busy with folk loading up before making their way to the various islands which I'll be doing fairly soon. Having one of my opaque window frames changed to clear glass for the view and some adjustments made to another where the wind is getting through. Just off to Edinburgh seat of cup and the heart of midlothian on the Royal Mile to celebrate a family birthday - best not get into what happened when I was doing that last year closer to home in Glasgow. Will see if there is time to go into that museum to look at that exhibit you mentioned. Spread the luv xxx
