Might go higher tomorrow and I can be called a dullard but it will not bother me because I'll be in whisky galore land. I did exercise the right to take up my rights and sold my shares today at 95.60p I think which is a good result given the amount of time I wasted" chatting" this morning on another bb where I currently hold no shares and here I am now "wasting" more time chatting on a company bb where I no longer hold shares. But it's never a waste of time and always a pleasure chatting with an honest bloke like you bonz. This was a first participation in a rights issue for me so learned something. I read the Motley Fool article advising folk not to take up their rights here and have to say that blanket advice like that is not right for every individual. Some folk will still be chasing down big losses here, some will have used the rights issue to minimise their losses or breakeven and some to make profits. Think you forgot to mention no stamp duty on bnc lol. There's no stamp duty on aim's shares either from towards the end of this month but I know you have never been a fan of that sort of thing. If you have been in and out of cup for a year and made some money good for you. Being around a share that long, I would assume you have garnered a lot of knowledge about the company for yourself without having to ask others. Well when I see a poster like my number who has 35 posts on lse, the majority of them eulogising about you, I smell a rat. I could say that if I had acted on your previous posts on here then I would have lost money if I had bought in based on your 50/48 thing. Well exactly but when my number has stopped praising bonker's abilities to forecast - not very accurately - where this share price is headed, most people at home would be more interested to read why my number chose to buy in here. It's certainly not the first poster I have seen who apparently likes to hang on his every word and to be absolutely candid I can identify at least five different groups of posters operating on lse who seem to indulge in hero worship of other posters. It kind of reminds me of that song you were the wind beneath my wings.

I sold my Aviva at over £5 - lol out come all the hindsight traders people at home would be well entitled to think. Well done on putting an on topic post on the bb and the content of your post was more deserving of inclusion on this bb than the usual back patting normally served up on here among colleagues and friends. Nice to see evidence of a community spirited individual caring about the welfare of a widowed neighbour rather than the me and mine are alright Jack brigade. Well done too on having the courage to take an ex employer to court . Few do. Your story certainly struck a chord with me and I have highlighted a couple of issues of concern with Ombudsmen over the years and received compensation simply by sending a simple letter explaining the situation. If everybody sat back apathetically allowing companies to get away with shoddy practices unpunished then nothing would ever change for the better in society and companies would run roughshod over the vulnerable. MPs like people like us because we take a lot of strain out of their workload in their constituencies by being able to state our own cases rather than relying on them to do it for us. Also empathise with the 6% return needed in a year just to breakeven thing and closed down an investment isa due to underperformance over a good few years.
