Well I'm watching that Downtown Abbey series one which was late to Scotland but not this late. There were some vicious characters from both upstairs and downstairs and some nice ones which really does mirror real life. I've got more diamonds, emeralds and rubies (birth stone for July) than is decent. I moved from yellow to white gold but maybe platinum should have been the thing. Oh all I really wanted was a pair of Scholl sandals but they're sold out now in the style I wanted, a Greyfriar's Bobby bookmark, Kim Braden(not Megan Follows) as Anne of Green Gables dvd which the bbc seem to have deleted though I can get Anne of Avonlea. Cripes was it not a year today the beeb served up Tainted Love about the on line dating industry but it looks like this supermarket wars thing is going to be a Downtown abbey like full series with a Christmas special. I think Opium's dad died because he said he likes to wear his shoes. My parents dead too alas. I always regret them not being there at some main events in my life and often think of all the outings I could be doing now with my mum now that I have the time and the resources. I am getting flowers and will leave that trip to Edinburgh until festival time. Have my eye on some jewellery there and still to see that painting. Enjoy your walkies.

I can never remember if Bonz's birthday is on 30 or 31st March . Well I was appalled with a lot of stuff I read on the bbs last week! Opium's going on holiday so you might find the tesco bb pretty quiet for a while. I touch type at about 60 words per minute so don't spend as much time as you might think posting on bbs and where's the harm if it's raining and you are waiting by a computer device of some sort for some info you need to get on with some job or other? LOL I was hoping the rains wouldn't come during the games and some of the tourists might have thought our summers were always like this and book their holidays here for next year. Then again tourists like readers of bbs are probably not as green as some folk think. Wetherspoons opposite the ticket office had no water for breakfast tea on the morning of the games and one mother and son walked out. I just had a g and t instead with my egg benedict which is what I think they were angling for but if I had been at the counter myself I would have asked them to ask the person in charge to open a bottle of water. Fortnately, the toilets were in use and the problem seemed to have been resolved before I left. I remember spending ages in tesco earlier in the year doing the other mum-in-law's shopping when she was ill and, as she buys things I don't, it was taking a little while to locate them. Funnily enough it was mint imperials, I was having a real job finding and they were last to go in the trolley though I had found butterscotch sweets also on the list. Turned out there were two folk standing chatting at the end of an aisle where they were hung up so no wonder I couldn't find them and had been on the verge of giving up and saying they were sold out lol.. I keep a few herbs in pots so don't get much of yield from them but I was at my sister's yesterday and she was delighted when I chopped up basil (not the one with the Devon hotel) for our pasta dinner and cleared away a lot of her mint from her garden. Used a lot of it for a fresh mint sauce with lamb tonight but have loads more in the fridge so peppermint tea or pea and mint soup or mint ice cream tomorrow I think. SidMadrid always says at this time of year that thorntons ice cream is selling well. You could try the mint. Bus driver and collection of other schools related staff were delighted with the thorntons summer collection boxes I got them in Hamilton outlet last month - half price £4 from memory.
