Somebody else apart from us looked at fres but it it ended up not far back from its day low - wouldn't have thought that unusual on a Friday. Don't know about you but even if I had bought at today's bottom when I was looking, I'd still need a fair hike in the price to cover my stamp duty and commissions and that's even allowing for buying a good sized chunk. If you only buy a small amount then you'd need to be prepared to be there for a while which of course some people would be. Earl, with one or two exceptions, it would be a complete waste of your precious researching time in my view to read back any posters' posting history including mine. Very often, post distribution does not in any way reflect how much hard cash somebody has in a stock. For instance, I sold a stock this morning that has had no posts since the start of the year and those posts were somebody else's and most of my "investing" funds as opposed to trading funds are in shell. Not currently a holder here but I used a box of their chocolate smothered special toffee to give me energy to stay awake during the boring base line marathon between Nole and Murray. Thought the price might have reached at least into the £2.50s first thing so I think this is a very disappointing reaction at the moment. Not sure about the merger thing being back on as that was off apparently because PB was being sold off. Maybe shouldn't be commenting on this as I no longer hold but that hasn't stopped a few others. At least holders are going to get something back from this asset disposal. A one off return in exchange for an asset they didn't think was working for them but was desired by others. Let's see if it can go higher on the lead up to the payout.
