When all crossed volume has been matched, an Uncrossing Trade Price can be determined for the market. This price is found by applying one of the following calculations. The calculation used is determined by the presence of residual limit volume within that market following uncrossing. The four possible cases are: • There is no remaining bid or offer limit volume in the market Uncrossing Trade price = the average of the bid and offer price from the last match. • There is remaining limit offer volume but no limit bid volume in the market Uncrossing Trade Price = offer price from last match. • There is remaining limit bid volume but no limit offer volume in the market Uncrossing Trade Price = bid price from last match. • There is remaining limit offer and limit bid volume. To determine the Uncrossing Trade Price in this case: • Determine what the Best Offer Price is. Determine what the Bid Price is from the last match. Take the lowest of these. This is known as the ‘High Price’. • Determine what the Best Bid Price is. Determine what the Offer Price is from the last match. Take the highest of these. This is known as the ‘Low Price’. The Uncrossing Trade Price is the average of the ‘High Price’ and ‘Low Price’. If this value is halfway between two tick values the price allocated to all uncrossed business will be rounded towards zero (rounded down if the value is positive, rounded up if the value is negative). If no matches occur within a market there will be no Uncrossed Trade Price for that market. .

No you are reading too much in to my comments. I was merely reflecting on past events and have no crystal ball into the future. Plan B has been discussed on this bb - earlier this morning and at other times. You'll need to remind me again was that not your own preferred option. I suppose most humble personal investors wonder why some institutional investors allow their shares to got out on loan to be short sold.

If no offer from oligarchs then they need to shut up for six months. Free float need to get increased to 25%. Kaz has 26%. Maybe I need to check the detail of what Sulley paid for his shares after all.

Got it dmor's post on kaz bb to which I have replied "currently being shorted are Fres quite heavily by Landsdowne and rrs by Marshall Wace so I don't read any conspiracy theories into kaz being singled out. The sector is depressed at the moment but the shorts will close and move on when the time is right."

read that article too and it is not very well researched. If the writer thinks kaz has only a 22% stake in enrc - then that's a very basic element to have got wrong. Worth digging about yourselves for information on the free float rules. Think they affect indices other than simply the ftse 100

It pays to keep an open mind about things and listen to other posters' views besides yours. There was absolutely no need for you to share with us this morning that you sold shares here a week and a half ago at £3.00 before buying back in at £2.45 this morning but I am sure we are all delighted for you. Let me let you into a little secret, if I had been sitting by a computer on 17 May when these hit £3.10, I might have been tempted to sell myself despite all the £3.75 predictions that were going around that day. I already mentioned to Paul Stomach that durby's post on iii on this topic is worth a read. Now much as the enrc and kaz saga is interesting, I've got other shares to keep an eye on. Good day.

The minute details of Kerimov's and your own trading here are of very little interest to anybody else but the fact that you are both still holding shares in enrc tells its own story. Interesting all the same that you sold some of these at £3.00 when you had been hoping for an offer of £3.75....

As always, there are different views expressed on these bbs and durby on interactive investor thinks Kerimov was buying all the way up to £3.00. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what he paid. He's still here and is an asset to the minority shareholders - especially if the Takeover Panel rules that kaz plc isn't to get a vote because the kaz govt. is holding shares in both kaz and enrc.

He's still holding well over 3% and clearly thinks there is some mileage in this. Not absolutely certain how much he paid for his shares nor how much he got for the tiny trache he sold.

I think we all realise that he is not acting altruistically here and the story covered the banking slant. I reckon he didn't sell any at £3.00 like alias because he knew alias's £3.75 hopes were a bit low - Sulley's hanging on in there for the £4.00. lol

Does the poster who posted the excerpt from today's Sunday Times article have any views on this comment in the spread betting mag "If the Scheme of Arrangement structure is still intended to be used then, re the comment “..for Panel purposes only Kazakhmys is treated as a Party to the Offer…”, we are unclear as to whether they will be able to vote their shares in ENRC too. If that is the case, then it seems the bid doesn’t have a hope in hell in getting through at the current level as the balance minorities have made their feelings clear on the price.
