Thanks for the clairification. I knew I had been chatting with a WileECoyote on here and that Goosewing had been responding. On some of the Aims bbs, it is very obvious to me that some of the "conversations" between posters are rehearsed and practicised in advance but it tends to happen less often on the bbs of ftse companies. One of the big giveaways on the Aims bbs is that certain posters will only interact with certain other posters but that's clearly not the case here. Let's hope metal prices have or are about to bottom out across the board. The sector is cyclical but demand and prices will pick up at some point.

I thought you were needing some iron tablets - reminded me of a line in a David Gray song. Haven't heard from Levis so guess he didn't proceed with his plan to buy in here yesterday when agk rose for most if not all of the day but he was buying more kaz shares yesterday. Metal miners took a hammering today however. I take it you are a trader here rather than an investor and have been interested here for some time. Any views on the rns.

Thanks for that comment. My post was really directed to Goosewing as I was curious to know if lse had renamed him or her for some reason. The bb seems to read as if WileECoyote has had his or her name changed by lse but it's really not at all important. ATB.

I was just having a quick read back over the bb over the past few months. You and Eddiee seem to know each other or are buddies but can you clarify for the rest of the readers if you were WileECoyote. I knew another guy on lse who asked them to change his username for a good reason and they obliged but kept all his posting history with the old name at the same time. I know of a poster on another website who is called WileECoyote but I don't think that is you judging from the shares posted on so perhaps there was some confusion? Anyhow I want lse to change my name as I feel it was one I chose when I was less mature and it is a bit juvenile. Not a particularly good interim divi to come here but not long to wait for it and always better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. ATB

I didn't realise you were a Scotsman by Jove! From Edinburgh eh? Seriously though Edinburgh is a beautiful city and in fine fettle this month with the Royal Tattoo, festival and fringe festival. I have had a couple of stays at the nts property right on Royal Mile - a wonderful street from Holyrood Palace, past the Scottish Parliament Building, passed the Cannon Kirk where Zara Phillips got married all the way up to Edinburgh Castle. Passed Mr. Clark's of Clarkston on my travels today and his shutters were down early on on a Saturday afternoon. Following his chat with the bbc's Fiona Walker, I wonder if cupid have had a little reassuring chat with him and maybe offered him a few months free subs. Maybe he was wearing one of his kilts to a wedding. Maybe his own wedding!!! 69 has been a pivotal point for the Cupid share price a few times and it always raises a smile. It's up to posters like you to enliven this bb with comments other than omg somebody's just bought 300 shares or it looks like the shorts are closing their positions now x 100. Really don't know too much about Aims but there is some poster on iii saying that a buyout isn't coming as Toscafund would need to offer the highest price paid in the last six months - but what about Dobbie and I am not sure about this. Is it not the highest price paid in the last year or do different rules apply to Aims. Then there is the guy on advfn saying that a buyout would come at a premium of around 30% on the average price paid in the last three months or something - but we both know of recent buyout proposals where that's not necessarily the case and a pittance gets offered. Going up - well,mebees aye and mebees naw as Kenny Dalglish would have said. What news might there be before the next results to propel this up. Who's pumping and who's dumping. What do you all expect from the next set of results. Does anybody on lse have any views of the liklihood or otherwise of a management buyout.

Well a quick look round the bbs seems to suggest that there has been a whole lot of buying of agk going on over the last few days and the traffic on here has become a far cry from the 15 posts since May that I was referring to the other night. Without checking my trading account, I can tell you that my buy order will have triggered yesterday afternoon and I might have even been lucky and it will have executed a pence or two lower than set. I was encouraged that my learned friend levis and another poster were of a mind to buy in here this coming Monday. I don't do ta but I look at fundamentals and have a nose for news which has led me to be a little bullish a little earlier than levis with rio to good effect in the past lol. though I am not sure if either of us have had a great deal of success with kaz in the recent past. I assume you will be taking some sort of position yourself here at some point as you don't post your observations on many bbs. The dear green place. Depending on the weather, I will be taking a pensioner to see the roses in Tollcross park today or the Scotland Street Museum. Thank goodness the city Faithers provided these as well as the marble staircases in the city chambers and the damp council houses. Ayr Flower show tomorrow. Have a good weekend.

I don't believe everything I read in the British Press nor everything I hear on the box. If I had been Russian then I wouldn't have believed everything I read in Pravda I'm a kind of Anne Frank type believer. Okay enough of this for me today. Weather's too nice and it's up to others to put up a stout defence of this share. Where are they all when cupid needs their support.

That's what I have had to become too as I've sat back too many times holding the baby whilst others have boasted about their buying but never letting on about their selling Good luck.

If you mean the Ukrainian reporter then that programme did not say that she was an ex employee. The programme intimated that she had applied for a job and been interviewed. It did not go on to say if she had been offered a job nor if she had been employed by cupid but I doubt it as she worked full-time at the Kyiv Post and would surely have had other stories besides Cupid to follow up. This women says she has enough material to take this through the courts. Then why all these months on does she not do that. We've already heard plausible explanations on this bb as to why a small company like cupid can't go down the litigation route every time some Tom, D ick or Harry or the mighty bbc says something about it and some of us are even old cynics and wonder if the laws of natural justice do actually apply every time in the UK. Does everybody believe that Santa Claus is real and everybody gets a fair hearing in the UK. Problem is that there have been too many unbalanced points of view and mistruths posted on this bb from folk in both quarters that people just start to switch off. And if you are going to take a pot shot at hookwinker, serpico and the like then you need to be fair and criticise others too in the other camp and those who have moved with ease from one camp to another and back. I don't mind having patience but I draw a line at the 7 years or so you have been invested in ser to make any sort of return which is why I pulled out of sxx when I heard when production was expected - I could be dead by then. Somebody who posted a few times on the cup bb in positive terms earlier this year asked me last night if I was currently invested in tht- I answered no. Do you see that wide spread here this morning - that's the kind of wide spread that has typified tht for most of the time I have been keeping an eye on it for three and a half years.
