No need to apologise to me. I have spotted you on the bbs of a couple of the companies I have an interest in. I am not sure that we share the same sense of humour but I did appreciate your joke about stalking. You might have got the wrong end of the stick about me too, some people do. No silver spoons in my background though I own some nice gold plated cutlery these days. I learned a long time ago that you need to be totally objective about the shares you are holding. If you are not then you are only fooling yourself and nobody else. You must have picked up on that on the bbs you have visited and it's not me who has been buying or recommending buying kaz shares recently though I did land another chunk from the enrc deal this week. I think I have enough of them right at the minute lol.
People who do a lot of day trading tend to worry overly about short-term price fluctuations but, despite what you read and hear on these bbs, conventional wisdom still tends to prove that the best returns and lower losses are made by holding stuff longer term. I know lego is likely to disagree wtih that.
When tht slumped to sub 10p, I caught james maggs and nkotb late one night chatting on the rbs bb. I knew james held tht and I asked what he was going to do. To my surprise both posters said it looked as though it had bottomed out and nkotb certainly bought in around that level and it gave me the confidence to buy more - though it was never one of my bigger holdings. The moral here is that a paper loss can look frightening but in the case of the right share it can be overcome. If I thought for a minute that kaz was likely to go bust or stay at its current level then I'd have no hesitation in selling but the share price is likely to recover at some point. Same with the hoc you bought today though I could be doing without some of the very transparent ramping and deramping that goes on on bbs and people think they are being subtle when their motives can be read like a book. I need to go to bed soon but do you just trade or do invest as well.
