Share Dilution for those that are at all interested in my point of view.
1. Dilution does NOT mean you lose out, NOT at all. Dilution is progress for many companies on AIM.
2. Exploration companies float on AIM with exactly that in mind and at the time of that float onto the London Markets a company can only float for its current value. This means they can't over value themselves based of future development costs through the phases required to prove the assets are commercially viable.
3. maybe an interesting angle would be when they do the original float of the company to attach warrants to the shares allowing the up takers of the floated company to contribute to those fund raises by purchasing the said warrant/ option and if they can't afford to then they are released to the trading market any profit would of course go to the holder of the warrant/ option.
4. you could have for example four warrant phases were capital is required for specific high profile and quite pricey tasks/ seismic scans (is one good example, I can think of). Warrant/ option phase's something like this;
THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE and non-factual!
Phase 1: for every share held you can buy 1 share on or before the expiry date of January 1st, 2021 - for £0.0050
Phase 2: for every two shares held you can buy 1 share on or before the expiry date of January 1st, 2022 - for £0.0060
Phase 3: for every three shares held you can buy 1 share on or before the expiry date of January 1st, 2023 - for £0.0062
Phase 4: for every four shares held you can buy 1 share on or before the expiry date of January 1st, 2024 - for £0.0072
4. the only complexity with doing this type of warrant/ option structure is admin costs, however it could be main streamed through digital brokers, which many of us use these days anyway.
Just an idea that would keep many LTH's happy (of course all in my humble opinion and just an idea)
For those stuck currently in moments of boredom due to this pandemic, feel free to through back some thoughts.
Very interesting question "Iceman888" but somehow I don't think you're gonna get a straight answer or an attempt at one. I think people are more interested in "tax - loses" which will directed through the cash shell. I asked a similar Q .... and got piddles pot in replies. I do believe if we are taken up as a cash shell our entire BoD will be replaced, who wants a board of useless or inadequate directors for the future of the company.
SINCE I have been with "MAYAN" and sold my entire holding at 0.11. Then recently came back with a punt of a holding, circa 10million.
I spent some time yesterday filling in some rare spare time, so I decided to read through some of the endless boring repetative RNS's to come up with a conclusion of WTF has this company been doin apart from paying saleries and dishing out free shares right left and center!!!
Now let be, justify those harsh words (i'm sure some will say) BUT you put up an effective argument and lets see who's right here. The BoD, Thom (glad he has gone) and his gang of merry men. Here's a list of projects/ oil field they failed the shareholders on (half of which I had never heard of until last night)
Asplhalt - it is here through "Deloro" where our interest in Asphalt lay, taken up and now operated by Petroteq (an exchange in shares was allocated by Petroteq for our 17% holding) NOW worth 1/9th of it original value.
The other field you should all no as they have been spoken about recently.
I THINK WE ARE DUE A NAME CHANGE .....who wants to progress as the name "ATTIS?"
B4 I finish what happened to the attis service division?????????? There was a time they were bragging on winning ex-amounts of service contracts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TakeAimFart, What planet are you on? The "hands, face, space" youtube video is about COVID-19 - I put it on here so people could see it, society in general is very slack with regards being careful on all borders of the COVID-19 pandemic. It does not mean the world will come to a complete stand still - People can work remotely (from home, just incase you don't understand that word). WATCH THE VIDEO simple enoughfor a 5yr old to comprehend.
Who said anything about buying 7 million £ worth of shares?! Sometimes you just have to do the thought process for those so simple they can't understand the written word. "I can see wholeheartedly you have never grasped the concept of INVESTING once the DUST has SETTLED"
So glad I was fortunate enough not to drive taxi's for a living as they can't even drive properly. Basically as thick as Sh_ _ _.
& yeah will quantify x 10 when the oportunity arises
To be more precise I have plans of magnifying my holding in the region of x 10 up to percentage level!
Quite a quantity of companies on AIM start of as projects and at a later stage require further capital to develop themselves into premium brands, products or services.
KORE is spot on and I can't wait to be more involved.
As a LTH myself, in my humble of opinions and I mean humble! We can't hold companies to deadlines during this pandemic. Ok we may have ex-amount of staff that can do xyz from remote locations, however when we have to interact with 3rd party companies we can not account for thier lack of staffing on any level.
I see this on nearly ever BB that I am currently reading. Light heartedly give the guys some slack, pls. We can't all be greedy money hungry wolves in times like this. Mark my words this pandemic is only going to get worse, we've seen nothing yet!
First round of the pandemic was the initial fase "the global spread and it spread fast as a new virus. When in the beginning we new little about the virus. Luckily at the time we were on the verge of summer (drier weather) which helped to restrict the spread.
NOW there are more infections and on the verge of cold damp weather and people will naturally catch the flu/ colds and whatever normally comes to us in the cold, damp winter months. This is when this virus will really show us what it can do.
I've given this some thought with all the recent news and the SP not budging much at all, mainly becasue they are awaiting the big news drop CAMBAY. (I needed to reset my auto trade as it expired today)
I believe this could quite easily hit 1 pence or just under! In mu humble opinion
Remember how high it went about 18 months ago just on the news that it was listed in court/ arb proceedings. Any thoughts on potential price (sensibly - NO WACKY comebacks)
