Fleur. Can’t even announce when the annual results will be announced! My guess is that they are tying to get a deal, any deal, done so that they actually have something to announce. If they have nothing to announce the share price will just continue its trajectory down the pan.

Greg, yes Fleur does seem to be tight lipped. Now 6th July and still no announcement about the date for the results. My worry is that they keep putting it off in the hope that something will turn up, in the shape of a deal, so they will have something good to announce with what will otherwise, be rather dull results.

The results should be in less than 3 weeks. No one knows what is actually happening within the company or its operations. Why not take a break from this board till then. If you guessed something half-right about 6 months ago you will be able to come back and brag about it and start boring us again. Hopefully there will be some good news which will give us something new to discuss. Have a good break.

Blackwell’s thanks to Dan, on behalf of the Board, could hardly have been more stingy. The absolute minimum that could be expected to a founder of the company. Did Dan invite the ungrateful Blackwell onto the Board.?
My guess is that Dan stood up against a half baked deal which did not value NFX highly enough and was probably outvoted. Now they are trying to get a deal done which can be announced just before, with, or just after the results and we will then be able to make our own judgments.
My own guess is that Kissei want 002 and 004 but as they are not yet fully tested they want to buy them on the cheap. I shall wait till just before the results announcement to post this on the bb.
Ps Just guessing but then so is everyone else. Might just as well post it now.
Pps. We will need to get something honest and positive with the results or the share price will disappear!

Vodafone has the same year end, ie March 31. They published their results on May 1 and their Annual Report on June 1. Nfx is a much smaller and simpler Co and their Annual Report isn’t due till August.

I think that if Dan has something decent to say he will save it for the results, or just before. The results themselves will be rather boring. If there is a statement or review, shareholders will be hoping for details of a signed deal and/or details of successful trials, rather than any ‘jam tomorrow’ which would go down badly.
Vistagen is a small co. Similar in size to Nfx so a successful deal with them would be small beer to start with but with tremendous potential if they can beat the opioids currently plaguing the U.S.

This is a rubbish bb nowadays. Anyway for anyone interested, Vistagen is up 28% as I speak at 65 cents and up from 44c at the beginning of June. This should be of some help to us, hopefully. Maybe we should diversify a bit!

Just been reading last years Chairman’s Report and the CEO’s Strategic Review. (July 1919). All very positive, forecasting exciting times, deals and revenues. I think this years report, due next month will be more circumspect. What I am hoping for is an RNS, a couple of days before the report giving us news of an actual deal, duly signed. That would be a good morale booster. We could then be given, in the report, details of prospects for the current year, including more details of the Ebers deal and the likelihood for concluding deals on 001,002 and 004. That would hopefully give the Sp a good lift.

Year end 31st March. Final results mid July. I doubt that we shall get any news before the results, unless there is a bid. Hopefully, in the Chairman’s statement, we will be given an update together with some straightforward talk on the company’s prospects for the coming months. If I remember correctly, when the rns of the 18th Feb. Telling us of the appointment of Dr Keegan, Dr Gooding ended by saying that he looked forward to giving us further information “in the near future “. That sentence seems to have disappeared.

I doubt that anything is “very close indeed “ ie this year. Also think it may be middle of Jan before we get the interim results and report

As I understand it, tonight’s talk is about Lancaster and fractured basements, not about Hur and it’s business. Any real news will be kept back for theCMD in January obviously. We may get the odd snippets in December to keep us interested.

If we don’t get the news as a Christmas present, the Interim Statement in January should make good reading.
