I'm hoping for great Gibraltar news to rocket the SP. I assume that is why the directors aren't buying as the news is on its way.....

500K more buys than sells yesterday SP no change buys=sells SP down. Either there is a placing in the air(which MWG said they didn't need) of which CFEP has had the heads up. Or, as I think, a fund (probably Miton) has dumped their shares to CFEP at a knock down price.

Yep. Unfortunately a perfect storm. Perhaps the 450k was a worked sell by them over a couple of days as threshold crossed last thursday?

Or another way of looking at it is they have plenty of money to pay this new guy.

The next trade answered my question. I assume there is a background sell order or the price is being nudged down for a buy order as usually MWG would be up 10% on 240k buys....

Yep agree to an extent regarding what happens next with gibraltar. They do say in their results that with the facility they have sufficient capital to reach break even so a big chunk of cash must be coming from somewhere in their eyes ( I know the company has rose tinted specs but if there is a real cash crunch possible they have to give some kind of indication) I also believe if cash was an issue their would be a major cost saving plan underway by now.

My guess is the membrane projects are initially small scale, around �100k each and if successful could ramp up much higher in 2018. Of course Gibraltar is key and i would also guess they are expecting a nice fat cheque to start the project, but are unsure of its arrival hence the Barclays facility.

Theres 450k@8.1 Considering someone could only get 7.5 for 150k near the start of trading i would be surprised if it was a sell but who knows? Maybe a director buy....

Just people selling out on seeing the results. Doesnt take a lot of selling to shift the price down 20%+. As has been said, i suspect some other trades are still to be reported
