BCP hasn't done badly so far. Had it not been for Covid-19 we would be well north of 6p now. We ought to be thankfull considering. This is holding up well.

There's been a flight in Asian markets as Covid-19 has awakened the bear still mainly overseas money being pulled. My guess is US investors in the main.

This could spill over to European indexes today.

The virus is easily detectable and the EA would come into effect on that basis. The opposite would apply. You'd probably want to get on the drill ship to be really isolated from it all.

You'd probably stand more chance of catching it. For 80% of people who catch it it is nothing but a mild flu. It's the 20% left over that's causing all the concern.

To me it's all top up opportunity not only in BPC but bluechips getting hit. Only problem I have is that I'm all positioned now so just riding it through. Sure enough a number of agencies are working on a vaccine but we got two weeks of riding the waves as testing is carried out.

Can't see it happening Keith1 unless a super strong rns comes out between now and preferably before tomorrow's close. We're stuck here bouncing off the 5s ceiling like some crazed headbanger on herion.

Already discounted a farm in pre-drill. Could be the reason we are at these levels due to risk aversion. 5s are very resistant and we could be stuck here for a few more days.

Confirms what I saw in the techs which is always good as it's bound to happen self-fulling prophecy and all that if everyone else sees it too.

Thanks for clarifying that bonum. Have to be wary that these posts can influence inexperienced peeps and whilst we can see the advantages in owning stock in BPC we don't really know how it will end. We can only speculate based on the information supplied.

The good thing is we have an excellent experienced mangerial BoD who seem to be looking after their shareholders which just builds confidence in our choices.

We're all on the optimistic side. However, I wouldn't sell other holdings and put it on here. New cash yes. Spare cash yes. If peeps have done proper due diligence and they feel it's a worthwhile play then yes. Today, since, seeing the 5s rare their ugly head at me I decided to buy another less risky stock on a pure dividend play. Some diversification is good.

Having said that I'm a long term holder in BPC and have always held due to the prospects.

Don't worry when it does finally pass the 5s it will go in a good way north. Especially, as the day traders get caught selling into it. They will then have to buy higher up.

We need a stronger RNS to shift this. Appreciate the general market is catching Covid-19 which will just build the upwards pressure going forwards.

Annoyingly despite the EA news we're still struggling to breakout of the 5s. Are day traders just thick?

The way the MMs (brokers, dealers, etc) did a road kill on BPC today my guess is on the downside the weak longs have been shaken out. Sure some jumped back in but not enough to give MMs good liquidity - not talking about dark pools - so, I guess they have to go the opposite and shake out the weak longs on upside. Those that look at £££ signs rather than position to prove a point in their stock picking. Just a hunch but PIs that didn't sell today when this went down to near 3.5s are not going to liquidate even if it goes down to 0.000001p
