I'm holding fire on BPC. Any hint of a delay in drill due to the virus crisis we could be looking at sub 1p even into 0.5p.

Sorry to be bleak. I should have sold everything like some did and was too blinded by flu-like talk which of course it's nothing of the sort.

We're at war - a bio-hazard war. The market should be closed.

Exceptional times indeed. We haven't even seen the worse of it yet in the UK. Think government has been ver reactive rather than proactive to counter this. Schools should have been closed 3 or more weeks ago. My guess it has spread amongst children and now they are staying at home to spread it in the family and for those parents who ignore government advice the kids are going to be going on nice walks to spread it everywhere.

I'm signing off from this forum for the next 2 months.

Anyway WTFDIK... I've gone through 2 bottles of whiskey, a bootle of rum and now getting through a bottle of brandy. Supermarkets are rationing and my preventative medicine will soon run dry lol

Perhaps you can explain how it supposedly originates in Wuhan right next to the Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory – a maximum security biolab which studies the world’s most dangerous pathogens - to a Chinese biological warfare programme. Just so happens that the virus was linked a seafood and animal market not far away from that lab and naturally China denies this.

Just coincidence, of course, but we are all paying the price for seafood and animal markets, right?

I didn't say it was a bio-weapon just that it is behaving like one. Why call it noval.? What's so noval about it? London is going to be closed down in the next few days. Pretty effective for an epidemic in modern times don't you think?

Not sure what peeps think on here but if Covid-19 isn't a manufactured bio-weapon it sure is behaving like one.

I don't position FX just intraday trade it. So, not bothered which why it goes south, north, east as long as it don't start going west because then we would have invented time travel lol, Aim to be flat at the end of the day which is generally about 8pm.

Depending on how government contains this virus and vaccine FTSE could go as low as into the 3000s imho. Can't see the government supporting everyone for long and certainly not for over a year.

The way I see it currently the EU only exists on paper. Borders are closed, internal market is closed. No one is listening to the EU, freedom of movement is non existent, unless it advocates closing borders and everyone is on lock down.

It would have to rate high in sophistication to be a scam. The market is just skeptical that a drill will take place and has been for years. BPC has always had an uphill struggle. No one expected the covid-19 impact. Even so, I take your point.

I just looked at my other stocks and it would have been better if sold the lot and put into BPC... that bad.. and I hold blue chips.

Good question - not.

Might have something to do with the pandemic crisis that everyone is talking about.

BPC is still holding up pretty well considering everything else seems on the floor.

Post-Covid-19 I think we will just be picking up the pieces left behind. Confident that BPC will survive it after today's RNS.

Sub 1p if the market can find a bottom. FTSE100 is holding 5000 though it broke that today. Governments should close the market imho. This is just getting ridiculous. There is panic selling....

Just went through three different supermarkets to get food delivered. All fully booked one 3 weeks in advance. Never seen anything like it. Oh well, will just have to pop over to the nearest supermarket at some point.

The cartel in *****iness isn't the only concern. There is also the travel restrictions and the lock yourself up advice which is killing oil demand presently. I recently filled up to take advantage in the drop in the pumps...

The BPC drill is just exploratory should commercial oil be found there is a rational argument to delay its exploitation until we pass this virus.
