Shares such as this are never risk free, and even if/when they start pumping some oil this will still be a high risk share for investors. Anyone who was in COPL for any period of time will attest to this - they were pumping over a thousand barrels a day, with loads more to come and the criminal BOD let the whole lot go belly-up in order to take shareholders out of the picture. Despite what Manro says I don't put Buck in the same bracket of malign, corrupt, amoral CEO's as the likes of Milholland over at COPL but anyone can let greed blind their sense of fair play. Also any little startup oiler is highly vulnerable to fluctuations in the crude oil price as their breakeven figuree will be at the high end. Tha's why I'd actually not bother yet with the wildcatting but just get Herons 1 and 2 up and running first, solid production and income, build up a bit of rainy-day cash reserves before spending on wildcats, unless they have a limited timeframe in which to drill wrt permits. Is that the case with GoBi? I mean, they drain money into Velociraptor and for what?
