People piling in for the morning RNS. No comment from Stas and Doc - thought they would be telling us about every single buy like they do when the sells dominate. Strange that.

Day traders like Stas and Doc hinder the sp progress a bit but the trend is upwards now.

If nothing else, any images should show the temp storage facilities being put in place. Before and after images should tell us.

Thinking there might be a morning RNS with the sign-off on the construction permit. MB is well aware that shareholders have waited for real progress for so long and will, I'm sure, get positive info out to us asap. I'm told he's sick to the back teeth of irate shareholders bending his ear, plus he wants to get things far more developed, and the SP up, before bigger fish get tempted by the MATD bait. A takeover once H1-4 + are pumping a couple of thousand bopd, and a Gobi gusher in development would be of a different order to now and would also make Mr Buck an absolute packet given his holding. We are way closer to massive game-changing developments than any other little oiler out there.

Why are Doc and Stas not here telling us about all the buys today? They're are literally all over this board pointing out how many sells there are on most days.

So, to summarise, we have a new bore-hole drilled hitting the same oil-producing unit as H1, sunk in double-quick time, which will now be stimulated and tested for flow. Must be a good chance it will come in at a similar flow to HI, so potentially 1500bopd+ from the two holes. Most small-cap oilers would go ballistic with even half of that in place. Gobi is now a potential bonus but is not vital for the future of the company. As Mike B said today, the company now has 'momentum'. Let the trading gang do their thing but this is looking pretty good from here. Not totally de-risked but increasingly so.

Irrelevant now as we've found it. And what most people haven't highlighted from the RNS is that the H1 and H2 have hit the same reservoir even though they well apart. Think about that for a moment, when it comes to putting in H3, H4 and so on. Once they get going they can drain that sucker in much quicker time than having to keep looking for where it goes. Greater predictabilitiy makes the whole Heron field much easier to exploit. That's the really important part of today's RNS.

So note that Stas is basically confirming that they are a position poster, a trader whose posts will always reflect whether they are in or out. As I said earlier, BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CONSIDERING STAS'S POSTS AS THEY ARE NOT BEING HONEST.

Totally agree Investor. It's the easiest thing in the world to try to scare holders by reiterating that it's one seller, the implication being that this must be somebody in the know. There is absolutely no evidence that it is one huge holder selling off, this is just a rumour repeated ad nauseam by Doc and Stas.

I warned this board about Stas some time ago, and I reiterate that warning now. Anyone who held COPl over the last two years of its life will be well aware of Stas as they were the most aggressive deramper of that stock most of us had ever encountered. They posted posts attacking honest holders on a daily basis and tried to counter any positive sentiemnt with a tsunami of negative posts.

Until they didn't - Stas literally flipped overnight to ultra-positive as they had clearly decided to buy in at what they thought was the lowest level...but it wasn't and the company went bust taking Stas's money with it, about which Stas was exceedingly angry (angry is their default emotional setting). So now long-term deramper turned ramper Stas is actually helping the lawyer representing shareholders who lost money at COPL with info, past posts etc as Stas also lost all their money.

So be aware Stas is a very, very aggressive postition poster whose comments are always driven by their agenda, being in or out. I'm pretty sure most of you have worked this out from Stas's posts this morning.

The lack of Heron1 permit is what sent the SP into a downward spiral as without it investors attributed no value to the whole Heron project. Therefore securing said permit should act as the main catalyst for a rapid reversal of this trend and has to be Buck's priority. The drilling at H2 and Gobi are fine but are secondary to getting H1 producing and oil stored in permanent facilities, rather than temporary ones. Once we reach this stage, with regular secure income, then we can start to believe properly and the market will respond accordingly. Don't let posters here who rest the company's future on new drilling. H1 has oil already and is theregore way more important in terms of the progress of the company.

All you can do is trade on the spikes, although these are less frequent than they were in years gone by. I think MAFL has acquired a reputation as a bit of a 'man-trap' share, one where if you don't move in and out quickly you can get locked in for a very long time, a problem exacerbated by there often being a spread in excess of 10%.

I was in COPL for years but took a break from all BB and share activity fro quite a while. Firstly, this board is anonymised so it's hard to see anything as bullying when nobody knows each other personally. Secondly, if you were here for any length of time you will be well aware that those intent on talking the share down were just as aggressive and vehement in their expression as those you call 'rampers' were. There was literally dozens of posters attacking the share on a daily basis for years, and completely dominating the bulletin board. Have a look over on ADVFN right now and you will see exactly the same posters doing exactly this today. So please don't come on here and pretend that this whole farrago was caused by so-called 'rampers' not letting others put their view as that is just, frankly, arrant nonsense. Regardless of who was right or wrong in the end, it is just plain wrong to suggest that critical posting was, or indeed could have been, shut down. So please stop chatting rubbish.

Not a bad time to buy atm, as the spread is only about .7p which is a lot lower than usual here. Maybe a flicker of interest from the MM's? Might have another dip myself! GLA

Be careful with Stas20 everyone. I remember them well from the ill-fated COPL board and it's absolutely clear that they post exclusively to whatever their position is at the time. With COPL they were virulently and aggressively negative about COPL for years and countered every positive post by others with real and persistent posts undermining any positivity. That's fine and COPL went to the wall but for the last few months of its listing they flipped to hyper-positivity overnight and then argued against any negative posting, again very aggressively. Unfortunately it seems that they were still in when COPL finally went belly-up. Of course, anyone can post what they want but be very aware with Stas that their truth is always from the point of view whether they are in or out. Just using my right to freedom of expression to point this out.
