Growth potential is enormous here. For me, getting to production after all these years is the catalyst. Now we really have something that might be coveted elsewhere. Hard to think of another comparable oiler at this end of the market in a better position now. Bigger players will now be noticing Matd.

So your response is to speculate on H2 Adw hahahaha. Perhaps email the company as I do regularly rather than look to this board for your information. The company is quite willing to give more information if you ask them as are people associated with the company. Hence my confidence. But that's different to what the company puts in the public sphere. Otherwise stop with your disingenuous, dishonest BS and get back under your bridge.

Agree also that having DQE onside is a huge plus in this field. It really does feel like everything is starting to fall into place at an accelerating rate too.

Totally agree on the Nav etc but wrt to liquidating the assets the big question is when? It looks like the only way shareholders will ever be able to unlock the potential in their shares but who wants to wait years for that?

The facts that we know about H2 have been posted this morning. We have been told that the company feels that the oil-bearing rock formation's characteristics strongly indicate that it is the same one encountered at H1 nearly a kilometre away. That is seen as a positive. They do not assume that it will flow at 821bopd unstimulated as H1 did initially. We have no figures as to flow-rate at H2 so it's pointless trying to discuss its commerciality or otherwise. The only reason to suggest a lack of commerciality at H2 can only be to spread the idea itslef to create negativity and then to accuse others of avoiding an issue that isn't in fact an issue at all because there is simply no information to go on to come to any definitive conclusion. Like I said, the disingenuousness on display here is nauseating. If Adw wants to opine that H2 may not be commercail is just an unsubstantiated assertion designed to spread fear. Just focus on the facts - within 24 hours we will produce oil for the first time in the company's history, H2 is being tested for flow and Gobi is being further evealuated. Ignore the noise created by empty vessels full of wind. Matd will be an oil producer within 36 hours max - FACT.

Well spacing conventions should allow MATD to drop at least two wells between Heron 1 and 2 and without having to look for the right spot, which is why they've kept the kit onsite ready for the new season in a few months. That's why the announcement made a point of highlighting that H2 has almost certainly hit the same oil-bearing rock formation as H1, which was not a given even in the same field. The next two wells are now very easy to position so should come onstream very quickly in the new season. By which time they will have openend the chokes on H1 and possibly H2. Exponential growth then ensues. That's why I'm here and with my average of 2.75p I'm more than happy with the risk-reward profile. Fighting the temptation to put another 10k in tbh as these levels are a giveaway for a company that should be producing several thousand bopd within the next 9 months. No-brainer. Ignore the noise.

Yes, really exciting times ahead. It'll be a ride, for sure. But we're pumping oil in the next 24 hours at most. Nobody can say that's anything other than a positive development for a small-cap oiler. Indeed, many never reach that point. Just focus on that and ignore the noise.
