They are obviously expecting the final results to be announced before the COVID grant. So next week for the final results (maybe RNS tomorrow) and the grant news in the second half of Oct. The COVID grant is out of SAR's hands. We will have to wait until it is awarded. IMO, there is something bigger going on, like who is going to partner Sareum with the Covid research. I'm not expecting a deal, just an announcement of the players.

You criticised him in the opening sentence of both questions\comment. Accusing him of deliberately hampering proceedings. Why would he do that? Personally, I'm not surprised at his reply, he is probably p*ssed off having to answer questions that can't be answered. When you are an expert in your chosen work, it is really frustrating to field questions from people who have no idea of how things work. With respect to Elcap, if you ask a stupid question you will get a stupid answer. The document that BOIL found is obviously a supporting document for some sort of announcement, nothing more. No price sensitive information, no RNS needed. In fact, if you released that document as an RNS the SP would probably fall as there is no substance in it at all so lets hope that when it is released there is some substance to go with it because the COVID diagram still says applying for grants which kind of says, it will be published before grants are awarded.

The SP will rerate when certain milestones are reached. Some of those milestones will be reached in the next 5 months. I am in a few Facebook investing groups and SAR never gets mentioned. Someone mentioned critical mass this morning. Getting to the end of preclinical with TYK2, Milestones for SRA737 or new on Aurora will give us the critical mass. Once SAR starts moving they will keep moving.

Hi Brighty. I'm not splitting hairs but IMO Tim meant that is it significant in that 1801 doesn't cause any adverse reactions when used with the standard care, Dexamethasone. This is great news as Dex looks to be a good tool, when given to Covid patients. As Thoth stated the other day, it all about timing. There may well be a sweet spot for TYK2 in that timing and its great that our TYK2 can be given at the same time as Dex but is that tweet-worthy, with no context, no MTD etc... I'd be more than happy if they found a way to get it out there, as it were but it feels like desperation to me. Our time is coming, again, as Thoth stated. The Covid grant news should come with a plan on how it will be spent and IMO, who we will partner with to achieve it. Not long now.

I wouldn't read too much into the Dex link. Research has shown that any corticosteroid helps dampen the immune response. SRA1801 was tested with Dex because as you pointed out, it is classed as standard care of use and I suspect SAR could have tested 1801 with any other corticosteroid. It's just another way to evaluate our compound against current treatments. The encouraging fact, if the news we are been given is true is if a patient has been given Dex. and it didn't work, 1801, with no known MTD could be given as the next step. I'm still not sure how SAR could spin this without sounding desperate, unless of course, it's all true.

I made the original post about the hospital. It was a tenuous link but still a link nonetheless. There is a fully functioning hospital ward in the Whitehouse, with operating theatre, recovery and all equipment needed. So why move him? There could have been a couple of reasons Trump went to Walter Reed. It could have been pure political theatre or there was something else at Water Reed that Trump's medical team didn't have experience with. I actually believe it's a bit of both. I don't really believe Trump has been given our TYK2 but I find it inconceivable that the scientists at WR (who are employed by the DOD) won't have been pouring over their Lupus data for the last 8 months to see if it could be used as a COVID treatment. As I said, I don't believe Trump has been treated with SRA1801 but I'd bet it was an option if his immune system started to misbehave. Utar is glass half empty and sometimes it is draining but his and Thoth's post shouldn't have been removed.

So, I was watching the news last night and one of the reporters said "what has the Walter Reed hospital got that the Whitehouse doesn't have". Well that got me thinking all night because Walter Reed is an American DoD research hospital and we know the DoD have researched our very own TYK2. Flimsy? :-)

RMM - We keep looking for the smoking gun in 10-Q but the longer this has gone on the longer I'm convinced that something else is going on. If they do set out a plan for 737 in the 10Q, we will know about it beforehand. I think we can safely say that Sierra are not handing 737 back. I think they will on licence for a chunky upfront and some low percentage royalties but how does that work for us? The minimum would be our owed milestone paid but what if all milestones were crystallised up front with a lower royalty? What then? What if someone wanted to buyout SAR, the complexity of the deal would take a while to sort out. All parties would have to agree, Sierra, CRT\ICR, the Chinese and not least SAR. As it stands, contrary to what people think, nothing is behind schedule. It would be normal for the readout after a trial to take 6 months. Tim said they would have to tell us if the data was bad or outstanding so we can assume the data is just good. TYK2 going into P1 was always going to be 2020\21 and Aurora FLT3 was effectively shelved. It might be wishful thinking but what if everything is waiting on the end of preclinical and patent news for TYK2?

Personally, I'm not that excited about the grant itself. As others have said, it could be just small amount to pay for more preclinical tests and maybe a POC. I am excited about the prospect though. I don't think we can do this on our own, we need help to get this into clinics for trials. We need a partner with some clout to gangbust this. Tim will also be wary of the Covid element jeopardising TYK2:s main indications. Hopefully we have a partner lined up for both TYK2 and they see Covid as a bonus. Still think we need confirmation of the end of pre clinical and maybe some patent news before it all kicks off. 4 months and we should know everything there is to know.

AA. It's not really 40% down today. The SP was too high going into news. I said something wasn't right. there was no substance to warrant a rise from 10p up to 55P or whatever the high was. The problem with filtering people is LSE still shows a "This message has been filtered" message and since I know who I filtered. I know that DH is probably bleating about something. Something along the lines, why is everyone popular and not me. I least don't have to read whatever dirge he\she\it is posting.
