I'm sure mehta's sister knows that most of these new vaccines are Rna vaccines and they don't touch DNA. There may be some long term issues with Rna, we just don't know but the main risk with rushing a vaccine is it just doesn't work.

Well, I went out for a run in my lunch. Always works to get things in perspective. I'm wasn't happy that CPF has backed down but on reflection, there has to be some compelling reason to this. Getting SRA737 going is a given but there must have been other indications that value is inbound or timelines compressed. Has CPF seen the readout data? Has Sierra revealed their plans to fast track? I believe it is a bit of both. We just have to trust the plan plus we will get a small milestone in the very near future. If we get the Aurora 900k as well. it wil be enough not to have to raise for operating costs.

With the chat down, it got me thinking today. I believe the next news we will get is the grant for Covid. The confirmation letter. I'm guessing it will still go ahead and Tim will update us with plans and what to expect. Remember there was a 6 month timeline put on this work. Tim and John are aware that a vaccine may come along but the POC will be for a treatment for Cytokine storms and Covid isn't the only trigger of these. At the very least, this data will add to the already significant data backing up SDC-1801 and why it could be best in class and better still, the government are paying for most of the work. Win/win. I'm pretty sure no LTH sold out on the drop and till think we could be 3 or 4p by the end of the year on TYK2 news ready for licence news in the spring of next year.
