There was a key phrase in Tim's interview yesterday. The difference first in class and best. He said something along the lines of we looked at the competition and eliminated the bits that are causing issues. JAK2 mainly. That part of the interview will largely be ignored by most.

I would hope that the work started as soon as we got confirmation of the grant award. However, this work will be and should be a side play to the main indications for 1801. Lets see the application for trials and a licence this quarter. 1801 for Covid could fast track the compound into P2 but it also could hamper it's progress if less than favourable data came out of a rushed trial.

The true LTH know all this. Nothing new or sobering. AIM investing is risky but this just maybe the 10,20, 30 bagger I've always wanted to be in and I've got 2.8 millions reasons to risk losing my stake. I've had multi bags before but had small amounts invested. This time all in, as it were.

I'm not a scientist but SAR were probably using the facility to help with the formulation of 1801. This facility can let you view compounds at the atomic level. Tim did say something on the lines that they found an innovative approach to solving the formulation issues.

Although these articles show the massive potential of our TYK2 compound. I don't think it could progress from pre clinical to further tests in humans for Covid without them letting us know. We had a vote. I didn't have enough shares to make any difference. It was a listed company owned by another company and was sold to an American equity company. The deal was done a couple of weeks before I bought in at a 30% premium. I got a profit but only something like 7%. It would be different here. No institutions to speak of and almost all shares privately owned. Completely different scenario. Just shared because it was a nail biting time and yet we may have to go through it.
