I don't know. IMO the Dex link is a bit tenuous. TYK2 wasn't specifically trialled with Dex it's just that Dex is standard care and you need a baseline to compare efficacy against. It's used everywhere a multipurpose steroid is needed. Not sure how SAR could spin this without it seeming desperate because most drugs will be tested against it.

Depends if they were being truthful when they said compelling data. SRA737 is going to be costly to take forward and even more costly to sell on to some other pharma. Even if Sierra want to break even on this. They need to be able to sell it for circa £300 million if they get anywhere near market. And that will just cover milestones. It must keep Dilly awake at night. Ha ha. A failed p3 would finish them off. Having said this, they would have just handed it back if they thought the risk was too much. To answer your question, Fadec. You could be right. Knowing the molecule is effective would mitigate the risk somewhat.

Hi RMM. I'm inclined to agree with you regarding delays, especially because SAR do tend to miss these self imposed deadlines but the CTA will depend on knowing where the funding for P1 will come from and I don't think it will be long before we know. Will it be a raise or a deal?

Our key focus remains on advancing the development of our two TYK2/JAK1 programmes, namely SDC-1801, targeting autoimmune diseases, and SDC-1802, targeting cancer.

For SDC-1801, which is our near-term focus, we conducted and completed initial toxicology studies in rodents demonstrating excellent tolerability and established its manufacturing process. In recent months, we developed a new formulation, specifically designed to deliver higher exposure levels of the molecule, which we are now testing in additional toxicology studies, with a targeted completion date early in the new year.

Data from these studies will form part of the planned Clinical Trial Application ("CTA"), which we aim to submit in the first quarter of 2021, and if approved would allow the start of clinical studies with SDC-1801. This would clearly be an important milestone for the Company.

The drop is inevitable, especially with SAR. It's almost textbook for us. Lots of news to come, hopefully, all good. A good opportunity to double your money in the next 3 months I'd say. Possibly multi-bag even! Apart from the waiting, the only downside for us LTH is a 10 bag from 3p is much better than a 10 bag from here.

Warthog - you have freedom of speech but not with impunity. You can literally say what you want but you will have to deal with the consequences if what you say breaks the rules or the law. That may be as simple as getting a ban here or having the police knock on your door.

Hi Glen. I just don't come here that much and all is fine. :-) You make some valid points and we all should err on the side of caution. On the director buying, my point is I don't want to see an RNS that a director has bought because it would mean we aren't in talks with anyone or know of any impending news. The fact that the NEDS and directors haven't bought much says to me that we are in talks and do know of impending news. The NDA things is such a red herring. NDA's are used all the time. It doesn't automatically mean we are working on a deal. I would be highly surprised if SAR wasn't working under several NDA's. I'm sceptical of SRA737. If it was a nailed on blockbuster then Sierra would be going all out to move it on. Didn't Tim describe the data as ok? Not bad news, not great data just ok. The future of 737 is in combo trials and that alone, IMO, is why it is taking a while to sort out. more than two parties to agree on a deal is always going to be messy. For our TYK2's we aren't as far down the road that we thought we were but we aren't far off now. A deal or take it into trials ourselves? who knows? no one here, that's for sure.

It's weird but as we inch closer to news, I find that I come to this board less and less. I don't really have any SP expectations for this year but we all know we could be looking at 5 to 25p based on deals that Tim has highlighted. Add to that the fact that AIM has found a new lease of life with all the new retail investors and dumb money and we could be in for one hell of a rollercoaster ride. Last week, I saw a list of AIM multi-baggers in the last year. There have been a lot and some were 100 bags or more. We are still at the peak of the AIM frenzy and FOMO is real amongst the newcomers. I say buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Most of the media, population and people here, it seems. Are ignoring Boris's opening statement that we are going to have to learn to live with Covid. That means, annual vaccinations, mutations and yearly deaths. As usual, the UK's fascination with opening the pubs has blinded everyone. Maybe on purpose? The government will carry on with all funding, it would foolish and political suicide not to.
