I know a 79 yo regularly going out and doing 30 mile runs. A couple of years back he did a solo 96 mile run. Almost all off road. He has a pace maker too. In fact, when they fitted it, he found out he couldn't run up hill anymore so he went back, they stuck him on a treadmill and they tuned it for him so he could.

Thank you HotBlack. I'm 51 and a runner and I read a lot of papers around adaptation and how effective the human body is in fixing itself if you give it the right circumstances to do so. In physical terms, inflammation has always been seen as the enemy but science is now proving, it is as you stated the first line of defence. Sports science is starting to disprove all the old ways of treating inflammation. Icing is out so are anti-inflammatories, the inflammation is there to protect the injury while the actual healing is going on. I've read an of Prof Tim Noakes work\research and he says we humans have an inbuilt governor, separate to our brains. in simple terms. This is the thing that tells you you need a drink by making you thirsty or sleep when tired etc.. It also has catastrophe prevention. e.g. your muscles are strong enough to break your own bones but they don't because the catastrophe prevention mechanism kicks in and physically stops you from doing it or you may have a nasty virus so the governor puts you in bed while the soldiers get their boots on. :-) I'm no scientist but the way I see CHK1 and TYK2 working is by slightly tweaking that mechanism. All interesting stuff.

This is what I've been saying. You don't get to present at AACR with just anything and although science orientated the main aim of presenting is fundraising for further development. If you look at Sierra and listened to Dilly you'd think SRA737 is just a sideshow. Maybe it is? Maybe having no strategy is the strategy. I find it very strange that, on the face of it, Sierra doesn't have a mechanism to shout about this research and Sareum can't say anything until they do. We keep looking for the smoking gun but maybe this is someone putting their finger on the trigger?

Damion, yes but it is effectively Sierras compound. Any pharma wanting to know more will have to talk to Sierra. You can't just put a poster out there and not have some sort of press release ready to go. How would the likes of Endpoints and Fierce Pharma pick it up? At the very least, Sierra will have another (validated) string to their bow but if you look at the website. SRA737 is barely mentioned. As I said, I'm not saying SAR will release an RNS but we should see some retweets and the actual poster when the embargo is lifted. And to do that, Dilly has to acknowledge SRA737 is an actual ongoing thing.

The Sierra and SRA737 is a conundrum to me. When they said they were giving it deep thoughts is probably an under statement. If they were going to fund trials with the shelf fund, wouldn't they have done it by now? IMO, funding trials are the least of their worries. It's the milestones that will keep them awake at night. The would need to find £290 million in a short space of time if SRA737 was fast tracked. I don't know how they are going to do it without on licencing but if they are going to on licence, why negotiate the milestones decrease?

Well, my assumption is if they are going to present some slides then they must have a press release ready. Where would you direct readers/investors if they wanted to know more? If you look at their website, its like 737 doesn't exist. It's all very strange but negotiations to reduced the milestones wasn't done on a whim. They must have a plan.

I'm not saying a milestone notice or anything BTW.

Fadec, I think the assumption is they can't talk about SRA737 publicly without acknowledgement that it is back under development. 737 still doesn't feature on Sierras website even. I'm assuming the same as others. We should get some sort of acknowledgement before the 12th.

I agree that it is common knowledge to miss deadlines, we know that and Tim knows that so why does he set unrealistic deadline, why didn't he say H1 2021 to give them some breathing space. The end of Q1 is pretty significant for all investors because its the end of the tax year. AIM directors, whether they are scientists or not need to be clear and set realistic deadlines. It feels like there is something brewing with the delay to the financials but if it turns out to be nothing the SP will retrace again. Also, I'd like to see something, a tweet even, from SAR relating to the Allosteric chat we've been having.

I'm not getting too excited. I think they have used Covid delays as an excuse to postpone until the 12th to see if Sierra commit to progressing SRA737. The only reason to do that would be to raise on the back of the inevitable SP spike. Two weeks to wait. We should be due a research update too. The patent questions can and should be asked then by the more knowledgeable peeps here. We are almost at the point of no return in terms of development. Soon we may have to choose if we want to continue investing or taking early profits.

Not a fan of consolidations but IMO they should approx £10 million which would take use to 4 billion then consolidate to 400 million. It would give us enough to put everything in trials and be self-sufficient until a big on licence comes along.

It is odd because if you google RYSURJJA and SRA737 together. You get zero hits. Think this might be an example of where other searches ended up. If enough of us search, it will eventually be indexed in Google if you want to spread the oddness :-)

I think SAR are getting ready to raise for 1801 and maybe 1802. and before anyone jumps on me for being negative. I'd actually see this as good news. I think the delay is to get the 737 news in, let the SP go a bit then raise. Hopefully, this will be over 2p or even 3p. The reason I think this is, grants are generally only used for research not for the day to day running of the company. Even if we got a grant to progress 1801 in Covid, it wouldn't pay for the salaries and further development on TYK2 sSAR would need to find cash for that. By the end of the year we could have CHK1 in P3, 1801 in Covid P1\2\3 and 1801, 1802 in P1. 10p time waiting on a buyout. :-)
