I find these boards fascinating. What is it with LTH and suspicion of anyone new? If you are confident in your holding, a differing opinion shouldn't change that. Not aiming this at you, Stoney, or anyone really. Just find it amusing how the LTH put the walls up whenever anyone new pops in. My daughter will be starting her Psychology A level in September. I wouldn't beat yourself up, Cobalt. No one here, and I mean no one. Knows what or when things are going to happen. The last RNS said Aim to complete 1801 preclinical in Q3 so, IMO Tim and the board have given themselves a runway and they have set our expectations. It might be October 1st we hear anything or it might be this afternoon. However, because Tim gave the timescales, my expectation is October 1st and anything else is a bonus. Lots of LTH here sat on and protect 6 figure profits and they are just as nervous as the guys who bought on a spike. I'm in that same boat. Having said that. I am more than comfortable leaving my 2.8 million shares running here as we aren't near the binary win/lose situation. Covid is the side play here, the big prize is still to come.

Yes, just planning. Every local authority in the country will have to do some level of this. They did it pre Covid, probably not enough with hindsight. Years ago when I was still an IT engineer, I was doing some work on my local disaster planning department. Anyway, while I was there, someone walk in and turned on the TV as there was a news flash on TV. A dam had failed. Massive destruction and projected death toll. It was a couple of minutes before I realised it was an exercise. The news flash was professional, BBC, with BBC news readers doing it. The team then went into disaster mode. Really interesting to watch and they talked of getting the body bags out to the site and shipping the bodies to the temporary morgues. Not sure how many Sheffield has be there are thousands of body bags sat waiting for a disaster and there are buildings already earmarked to keep the bodies in. I believe large shopping centers/malls have to do the same.

I'm looking at this slightly differently from you guys. Not worried at all. I'm thinking if I were a new investor to SAR then I would be thinking that IF a hostile TO was coming or even possible then the minimum we would get is 7p so you would be backing a horse that can't lose, at least in the short term. Setting the next set of warrants at 9p is raising that minimum even further. It a clever strategy that protects the SP and the HNWI investment. Don't take my advice though, DYOR and all that.

GH - They have probably been admitted this week hence the SP staying around 7p. Once admitted, I'd guess we are off on our way to 9p. On another note. I was just in my trading account to amend my sell order (set at £1) and I couldn't amend it. The option isn't there. never seen that before.

So based on that, Thoth. By exercising the warrants you are setting the minimum at which we can be bought out? Bring on the 9p warrants, I say. We also can't lose from this point (unless we have a failure).

And on the £30 million. If we got access to £30 million of funding. Sareum starts the transition into a pharma rather than drug discovery. If P1 trials went well, they'd have no trouble raising £300 million to push through to P2/3 trials. Based on this I'd say a buyout is even more likely.

Plucky, yes. The exercise of warrants baffles me. Said it at the time. The only reason to exercise the warrants is if the buyer wants to sell now, right now or if Sareum needs the money now, right now. Otherwise, they could just sit on them with no risk until the SP is higher. So which reason do we think it is?

Not saying its this actual funding but maybe something similar?

I'm starting to think Thoth might be on the right lines with his thinking. Maybe we have to prove we can raise £5 million so we can accces £30 million on funding. I'm in a rush to start work but scroll back to Monday (I think) and its in Thoths link. If this is the case the next HNWi will be for £1.5 million at 9p with warrants at 11p.
