There has just been a placing at 8.25. Where do you think the SP will settle? Historically SAR has always settled under the placing price. Knowing this will make holding much easier until the next bit of news.

I highly recommend that anyone invested (not trading) limiting yourself from this board. You've made your bet and have a target in mind so just sit back and wait for it to happen. If news happens when I'm not looking I have sell orders in place. The last 3 weeks have been great, I probably have saved myself 3 hours a day by not looking at SAR posts. When I do come here i switch to thread view and look for posts started by Citizen, SOG, Thoth, RMM etc..

There will be no 'news' in the trading statement. We might get an idea of how the 4.5 million recently invested will be used but other than that, it will be business as usual.

The roulette analogy below, is spot on. Personally, I have over 200k sitting on what could be a binary choice. Some have much, much more at risk. It's only natural to want to protect your pot. Regular updates from now on would be appreciated. I'm happy to hold if I know what the plan is.

I've been thinking this for a while RMM, well always, if I'm honest. It isn't that I don't believe that we could get a pound or more because we definitely could if we waited. I think 20p is nailed on once we start Covid trials and the toxicity risk should be quickly ruled out if its a fast track trial such as Agile. Then we need to find out if shows efficacy. Covid has done us a favour in that it has sped up the process that leads to win or lose. That includes 1801 immune too. A failure in Covid could really damage the immune side of things so the trial has to be designed in a way that protects the compound. I'm sure Tom, John and board are on this and will protect the the value already delivered. The big elephant in the room here is 737. If that goes into trail as a combo with a big player then that will derisk us somewhat and we could be heading to 50p and on to a pound. I find it stage that 6 weeks have past since the end of the POC and the target for completion of pre clinical could still be 6 weeks away. An interesting few weeks to come and I'm keen to know how the board will manage the SP in the coming weeks. I'm not worried at all as my expectations are lower than other here.

I agree, Spurs. But in fairness, they announced a long runway of Q3 to complete pre clinical for 1801. IMO, they will use this but try to support the SP with subscriptions and warrants. For now, until we hear otherwise, I'm firmly focused on 1801 immune. Covid is a side play that may or may not materialise into something. All, my opinion, not being negative and I don't want cheap shares but the wearyness may well continue until the end of Sept.

Some fail safes in place double signoff on trades etc. Weekly zoom and monthly face to face meetings Not sure what thier take is but the quoted figures are after they've taken their cut. I do know that her pot made 35k already this year. I work in IT but our customers are legal and finance companies. One of them is a wealth management company but they won't even talk to you unless you have 2 million. They have prem footballers on their books.. Dont know who the clients are but there are always porsche and lambos in the car park.

I have a friend with approx £550k in her Isa. A wealth management company looks after it for her. She takes £1500 a month as an income with little risk to the lump sum. Based on that, 3 million would get you over 5k a month. That's where mine is going.

I'm £220k up on my investment and happy enough to hold even without the comfort blanket of Covid. There is no confirmation bias here. I know and acknowledge the risk we still face and still happy to hold. I also took my profits out of my ISA. The independent businesses of Cornwall are currently benefitting from that. Especially expensive gin and craft beer peddlers. Never spent so much on holiday. Have fun all. I'm off out for lunch.

Spurs boy, well said. it beggers belief that anyone investing in bio would even think like this. The vaccine delivery hasn't changed only the payload has changed.

Stoney, 1801 hasn't been tested in humans yet. If it gets emergency approval it will be way more experimental than any vaccine. Will that be OK to the doom sayers? Will you be happy to sell that? With the numbers of vaccines given you are 20 x more likely to electrocute yourself after getting the virus than get complications from it. My 83 year old mum has refused the 'experimental' vaccine because of of misinformation like this. There is some great research posted here but recently its become a massive echo chamber where everyone is trying to find anything they think will protect their investment. SAR, 1801 and my investment will be fine without Covid. Vaccines are working.

The vaccines work and the benefits far outweigh risks. There will be nothing more risky than taking 1801 for Covid when/if it gets to market. We don't need the vaccines to fail just so we can get rich. We need all options and the world needs the vaccines to work in the next 2 years or we will all be screwed.

Ha ha, I'm done for if eggs are bad for you. I eat about 20 eggs a week and have done for about 10 years. Also, before anyone says cholesterol, mine was 4.9 the last time it was measured.

Big E - as you say, your choice, your risk. I know two vegans who eat 'healthy' diets. They are young, 35 ish, fit fell runners and both now have long Covid. One of them has been off work for 3 months. The other half's uncle is 62,over weight and not fit at all. He breezed through his bout of Covid. Its pure luck how it affects you.

Agree with the sentiments that this is a weird and lacklustre RNS but maybe it's a mechanism to get the sp over 9p so they can issue another subscription at 10p. Still feels like the board are managing the sp in steady step ups.
