Nothing is happening. No news update at all in August against 4/5 in `June /July. Are they all in quarantine after hols in France or perhaps they are to busy to update the website. Wigan is a shambles, not surprising they couldn't do anything if the previous owner was owed 30M plus but surely it that should have been sorted well before now.10 days left and I can't see that going any where. Money for Begbies but not good PR if it's wound up as a business recovery specialist.

I can't see where the demand for shares in coming from for either PI or II because it would have come by now. For me that has always been the primary share price driver.

I respect all your positivity fellas and sticking around. But I just can't see it. I can wait for my divi and that's it and then you won't have to read the ramblings of this frustrated investor.

XPB. I have to say I'm getting a bit bored with all this. It seems to be a case of "I'm right, you're wrong" Everyone is entitled to their view whether that turns out to be right or wrong. There is nothing to gained by trying to put people down and prove they are wrong. You have different view to others. so what, Live and Let Live.

To justify my thinking. The govt had made provision to reduce insolvencies etc until the end of Sept and I think it is possible in may be extended. Bad economic news continues and the govt has to protect the economy and jobs as much as they can. No Brexit deal in my view could push the economy close to, if not into a depression never mind a recession. I can't see the govt taking the risk whatever it costs. I'm not saying that would be bad news for Begbies because it isn't but I do think it will affect the sp adversley which is primarily what I am bothered about.

Yep and the tips and price targets come from their own brokers canaccord and shore who in my opinion are not the best brokers. Nothing is happening. They are struggling with Wigan. Success there would be great PR but it feels like that's dead duck. I actually see further falls especially if a Brexit deal is done which I think is likely. I don't think I'll buy above 80 but happy to hold till sept update and divi.

Doubt there will a JV with Velocys. They are in bed with Tri for gasification although not a mutually exclusive relationship.

Looking forward to the day when I no longer have to pay the council to have my household waste collected but am paid to produce waste........ sorry I've had a few. !!

Good News for Begbies but it still won't create any demand for their shares.

Well, I've been trough my trading spreadsheets for Beg over the past two weeks and can't see anything that is considered "offloading" maybe some stop/loss taking place. There is no business reason for the fall. Year End t/o 17% up, Profit before Tax, Cash Reserves and unused borrowing facity all up cash rich and a strong order book as stated and 1.9p final dividend. It's good, short, medium and long term. The simple fact is that the SP doesn't reflect the value. Why ?. I can't believe the SP is falling just because the Govt is propping up businesses in distress. That's short term and investors don't think short term certainly not with this type of company.

That's a fair point, but Begbies have revenue streams away from insolvency and it seems this is growing and ofcourse revenue from Insolvencies can take an age to come through. I have to disgree regarding unloading as trades in past few weeks don't point to that. I still think it is Mm's. There is no interest in the share. It's a completely illiquid share, hence the spread. The sept update will tell us alot more.

Anon3. There is no point in laughing. It's just the life of a Private Investor. Most of the time there is no logical reason for price fluctuations when there is no news. It can only be Mm's who decide what is in their best interests in addition to the spread. I'm interested to see at what levels this will fall to generate any interest of note. Possibly 80P or so and then those buys will sell on a 20% to 30% rise. I think this is a good sign depending on where you bought. Demand is the ultimate share mover.
Its a watching brief for me particularly volume and whether there may be any director top ups as it is certainly undervalued if this continues.It is follows this trajectory below 70P I think they'll be a few interested parties.

Well if it all goes as well and smoothly as that Sean , We will all be happy bunnies. It’s still very early in the grand scheme of things and things never go smoothly. The potential is there and I’m sure we all agree that’s why we invested. I’m not on the same page re sp as I think it’s bound to be a takeover target well before it reaches those sort of levels. Who knows though.

If this continues dropping to around 85/88P I'll consider buying in again. I think there is probably 20% in there and keep possibly for a few months. I can't see any reason for it going above 1.05.

The biggest problem as I keep saying is no interest/demand and a strategy of returning profit to shareholders... the biggest by a country mile is the chairman. There's just no incentive for the company to focus on the SP. For one, I'm glad of the fall as I think there is now a return to be made. At least some excitement

You may be right EPB. I'd be surprised though if BA and Shell both on the Jet Zero council were effectively leading the govt down the garden path. That wouldn't be the best PR or Strategy. I guess time will tell.

In my view this is just the MM's trying to generate some share interest. Sp reductions on a profitable company like this will generate some demand and I thought this may be a strategy. There are some smaller bigger buys but nothing to shout about. Infact I'd quite like SP to fall short term, generate some interest and recommendations and then perhaps we'd be back up over £1 by September update with greater volume. Back to my Begies induced afternoon nap. !

Interesting Stuff. It's my view that the Govt, Shell , BA would have done their own investigation and due diligence into this and wouldn't have committed to Velocys and Immingham if we were as EXB suggests. But what do I know I'm just and investor with no practical expertise or experience in FT technology.

Thanks DH. I assumed that to be the case. Having watched a few vids on FT technology I would agree.

As I understand it there is a demo facility in Japan that Velocys supplied. It's not important that VLS haven't themselves gasfiied. Red Rock do and I thought Velocys FT reactors just complete the task of producing liquid hydrocarbons for processing into Fuel. The immingham plant I thought is a production facility but velocys eggs are not just in the immingham basket as they can license to any third party developer. Someone correct me if I am wrong. !

I actually think Immingham will go ahead. I do think the timescale is optimistic but it will very embarrasing for the Govt with its public and financial support if it didn't. I think the will as there so there will be a way. There is lots of funding options and who knows what support will come in. I look for SP drivers and I think if Red Rock commit to two more reactors by end of the year that will be a good sign. I think we are just in for a period of quiet but under the surface it there should be a lot going on. We all know what news we are waiting for.!
