Some of these helium stocks are good for trading, as long as you avoid the dilution events.

News on expansion across USA should provide a nice little boost to the SP.

If folk were expecting an announcement pre election that is really on them as could never see that happening.

Growth areas For Card > USA, Australia, Ireland and UK where new stores have still been rolled out.

There was a whole raft of updates yesterday from major retailers who set out plans to mitigate the NI changes and their SP haven't seen the pull back here. Card simply got caught in a perfect storm due to timings of updates.

P/E ratio is way out of kilter with sector average.

Even a modest P/E of 10 factoring in zero growth on guided PBT would more than double the SP here

Start adding in growth factors and reducing both debt and debt servicing costs.

At the same time it's taken Anglo American to construct a 44km long underground railway for their Woodsmith mine under the moors at a cost of about 5billion

HS2 project has managed to roll a few bits of yellow plant into the Birmingham station and put a few footings in.

At this rate HS2 will finally be finished in about 2074 at a cost of Trillions..

They probably should have given HS2 to Anglo to build, probably be finished now with a line running from London to Edinburgh that can speed along at 300mph+ whilst serving champagne.

Howeverr as its the UK government running the project, HS2 will probably be not much quicker than the present Pendolino trains and be lucky to get some crisps and a can of fizzy pop if someone remembers to stock up the refreshments carriage

Plus you'll have to get a rail replacement service if any leaves get on the line.. :-))

The UK government is just as much of an embarrasment.

Look at the potential in Cornwall for lithium, Silver, Copper, Tin and other critical minerals across a number of projects that could all be linked into the proposed Northern lithium processing and nationwide battery giga factories.

Even the potash super mine in the north has gone to Anglo American when they could have backed it and secured decades of massive tax revenues

I could be wrong Dai, but I believe that Piedmont will be taken out by Assore.

Assore have shown their intentions by making two previous bids at 33p / shr and have just increased their shareholding further.

Assore are in a far stronger position now.

I won't be surprised to see a further offer tabled post the AGM.

I also think think that given the BoD have taken some shares in this placing the offer will probably get waived through this time.
