RE: CGNR - Next Gold Junior Multibagger14 Feb 2025 13:12
Almost identical posts to what we saw over on OMI when I was loading up at 2p & 3p & 4p over there.
One of the posters who inferred it was going lower is now boasting about having made over £150,000 now that the price has moved back up.
No issue with anyone making money but it will be very duplicitous to argue that there isn't the opportunity for a rapid 10 x.from these levels and then come back later claiming that you had been secretly loading up.
To mitigate against any price fluctuations I am doing what I did over at OMI.
Starting by firstly getting some skin in the game then plan to scale in over the coming weeks.
If an RNS lands and the price is 6p/7p/8p /9p I'll still be happy to add as I will have got my cheap ones tucked away and the share will be off on a rum with momentum taking it higher.
£15-£20m for a proven resource with the direction gold is heading isn't unreasonable.
Yes partnering with demir was a huge mistake and hindsight is always 20/20 just like OMI who had Newmont who drilled 'in the wrong direction' and hit a duster, then OMI raise just £800k and with a single drill wirking in the field hit a 100 metre long intercept and the shares have gone from 2p to 14p
Both company licenses are former Antimony mines where they are now discovering gold trends
Even the most bearish of posters believes its likely that CGNR will either get a partner and or be able to raise £1m.
If OMI can take just £800k and put a single rig on site and create value, then from a standing start market cap of £1.5m, its really not difficult to envisage CGNR being able to make some sizable gains from here.
My screener is flagging CGNR as the most undervalued Gold Junior with a proven resource on the London market.
If it was being brought to market for the first time tomorrow with the JORC resourse they already have and the potential across a 40km+ gold trend it woild probably IPO around £20m market cap.
Markets often have things mispriced to the downside, but when they do the correction to fair value often results in a violent re-rating.
I posted a little snippet over on GGP earlier as a reminder of when GGP was 0.29p and rampers were looking for 0.6p and so many sold at 2p and missed our on the really big re-rate as most were happy with just a 5-10 bagger.
If CGNR go on to prove up a district scale discovery with multiple clontibret analogue this will probably surpass the value that we saw when the profs other venture the zinc mine 'Arcon Resources' was sold to 'Lundin mining' for c.$123m back in 2005.
The present valuation is a gift.
