I think this simply has to form part of anyone's speculative section of their portfolio after today's announcement

With Ed now on board and clear focus on the deeper drilling targets at Red Setter

If the geological mapping as an analogue of telfer plays out this could deliver life changing returns from such a low starting base.

Have started to scale in as can see this well above £5-£10m market cap by the time drilling kicks off.

So I'm happy to take a slice of that potential upside

The plan is to buy the dips on market volatility and slice on each market rebound and (hopefully) end up with some kind of low average/free carry situation that will then be locked in for nice double digit dividends for years to come that will sit in the 'income' side of my portfolio providing boring steady returns year after year without me having to do much other than keeping an eye on the trends in business performance.

I'm amazed that KOD aren't singing from the rooftops about their Gold licenses.

Whilst lithium prices have tanked -90% over the past two years

Gold is getting close to being up +90%

KOD are swimming in cash tha they could use go and develop and expand their gold resources

It would probably put a rocket under the SP if they announced a major fully funded drill program to expand their gold holdings.

Maybe that's exactly what they will do next?

Most juniors are sat waiting for JV's or another placing to develop their assets.

KOD already have the cash.

I keep it simple.

Since yesterday, gold has been a massively 'risk on' asset.

Im happy to participate in the leveraged plays in this environment and I suspect there will be plenty of trading opportunities over the weeks ahead.

I'm personally hoping we see a 2011 or 2020 style move in gold equities.

If history repeats the quality equities move first, then afterwards even the smaller junior plays get their time in the sun.... and when those tiddlers move... they really move!!

So many FTSE giants all of which were NT at the open today.

I've resisted the temptation to over trade.

I've taken some cheap tranches in GGP / 3GOL and MNG over the past couple of sessions and happy with those positions.

Still holding plenty dry powder whilst watching it all play out.
