Hi FW
You'll no doubt remember all the misses that GGP has before they hit big.
And several misses since (scallywag etc)
GGP massively overshot to the upside on that run up to 37p (£1.5bln market cap) as at that time they had still not yet put out that 1st MRE of 4.2m Oz and also at that time they only had 30% of Havieron, it was a speculation driven rally, whereas now, it's fundamentals that will dictate the SP.
GGP are now valued at £2.1bln market cap and own 100% of Havieron and 100% of Telfer and in excess of 10m moz+
So many scenarios could play out at WSBN.
They are in the right post code and probably regret not doing diamond drilling last time around
The diamond drills can go much deeper than the RC and they are planning on using the 2 previously collared holes and extending these.
However, given the cash raised, they could afford to put another rig on site and set up some more drill pads, this may well be planned.
If they hit some decent intercepts the speculation with be off the charts as the magnetic signature is larger than Havieron.
All the previous scout holes did manage to hit mineralisation in every hole, just not in any particularly large intercepts.
If this deeper program hits some jucy intercepts then from a very low market cap,.I would expect a material re rating.
I expect WSBN will stay firming in 'speculation mode' for a long time yet and all the fun and games that comes with that.
As above speculation driven rallies tend to provide those outsized gains that are the holy grail of small caps.
