If this crypto winter lasts throughout 2023, consider crypto dead, even the halving in 2024 won’t save it. There has to be a bull run in the next 12 months, even if it goes just to $40,000. The good sign is volatility has returned to Bitcoin.

Wolf, you are the lucky few from a different generation, same as me I'm from a working class upbringing had a great childhood, money wasn't everything in my days, nobody cared what my trainers were or what type a house I lived in, people were different them days, they were very social, all the kids on my street would play together. We are the same age from a different time, with luck circumstances. Things are different now, it's not the 80's, it's like America in some parts of the country now, there are gangs and more gangs, homelessness on a different level, people have become selfish like you wouldn't believe, hardly anyone is kind, I could go on and on but don't want to turn this into a long post.

In some parts of the world, people are still friendly, still they have a social society, still the care for their neighbours, still they have loving big families and communities, still their children take care of them etc, This is what is good quality of life, respect and love, unfortunately we in Britain are getting further and further away from it every year.

Sanpablo, I completely agree, so many good talented people wasted. The problem is every time you highlight the problem, you get shouted down from the likes of wolf. Some estates here in Manchester, they are border lining Victorian era, the deprivation is horrendous. And Manchester deprived areas are hundred times better then London or Birmingham or Liverpool or Blackpool or S****horpe or Glasgow etc.

Lol again wolf, we live in a society that is more divided on strata then ever before, yes people are better fed and educated then 100 years ago, but they are lacking one of the most important human needs social companionship, open your eyes, even if it is 30 percent of the country which it isn’t it’s too much. Britain on tv and Britain in real life are two different places, I suggest you turn the telly off and get out about a little, maybe travel to London and explain to the thousands of gangs of teenagers roaming around who dickens is then travel to Liverpool and explain to the people living on council estates and discussing dickens with them.

You didn’t understand my post, I wasn’t comparing rich people, I was saying putting rich people aside (the ones with family and right frame of mind), the vast majority of people in the Uk have a poor quality of life.

Then after you’ve been to London and Liverpool, visit our northern ex mining towns, you will understand what real deprivation is. You have no idea, the only time fellas like you wake up is when either your kids leave you in a small dark room with a candle light or worse you end up in some council estate with a chav problem.

Lol Wolf, If you think we have a good quality of life in this country, you wanna get travelling a little bit, I’ve been to half of the world’s countries and I’ve been to some numerous times. Rich people world over are the same, their quality of life is excellent, if they have the right families and mind set, doesn’t matter where they live. The rest of us in this country, not all but a good proportion of people are a unhappy people. There are many reasons for this unhappiness, weather, expensive living costs, crime etc but the main reason is social isolation and exclusion. There is a overwhelming majority in this country who are socially excluded because of their class or socially isolated, in the sense they don’t have real family or friends, they spent all their lives working and never developed a meaningful relationship with anyone, put their careers first and family last, now they are old and alone, kids don’t visit, brother or sisters or friends don’t want to know them. Just visit any old folks home, to understand what I’m saying. I think you are heading that way wolf :-)

I don’t know about conspiracies but what I do know is, there are numerous doctors, lawyers, engineers, CEO’s, managers, politicians, police forces, teachers, judges, journalists etc, crooked as fook, they will sell their soul to the devil for a bit of money. This is why the quality of life is very poor in this country, most of won’t call a spade a spade, we are too naive.

Off-piste, these are opportunities, they don't come along everyday. for me a rise or a fall is both welcome in any share I'm invested in. The whole point of investing your self and not using a financial institution to invest for you, is that you do your own research and if your research is telling you to buy this at 50p, well 25p is mf bargain, wouldn't you agree?
