Its a sad outcome Bignose - I highlighted the risks several months ago on the SUMM board and took some severe abuse for doing so.

The statistical chances of success are just so low. Unfortunately the CEO also has a poor history.

I suspect the profit warning will be in the region of K$ 108m less the HK$ 38 of milestone payments. Suspect the market will shrug it off as the negative is a non cash item.

Best we can hope for ( I think) is positive comments on initial sales launch.

Can't see significance of Macau at all with 600,000 transient people people with a chip in one pocket and can of Fortacin in the other - must be another reason why they are even bothering.

I know we drifted down at the close, but the sustained volumes are a positive sign of interest picking up, although I don't really understand what is driving it as all the things mentioned have been known about for quite some time.

I agree Bignose, far too early for leaked sales figures, unless the uptake has been unexpectedly formidable. RP never seems to follow the book, the events you refer to have been announced and would normally be expected to already be in the share price. The launch announcements attracted no interest or price action so is it Secret Squirrel and his chums or perhaps just an investor ( as apposed to potential bidder) just building a position.. Wonder about the UK which was also meant to be subject to a Recordati launch later in the year - its now been available for some time again but impossible to get any info from the on line suppliers on sales.

Somewhat odd that this historic feat was never announced in advance as an objective and the next major milestone. Tons of companies are already doing this and no doubt many others could if they s wished.
