I would however say this- as a matter of best practice all Placings should be initiated by the BOD and for valid commercial reasons.

If a CEO is approached by a dodgy broker or MM requesting a Placing for an investor they have lined up I would suggest that any competent CEO should decline the offer.

Why would anyone buy stock at a premium- surely they would just buy on the market.

Placings are normally at a discount which is why they are dilutive and viewed negatively, although I agree with other comments, if they are put to good use I am all in favour- its not as if the funds raised are to be used paying directors fees !

Not sure about the broker touting round theory in this instance, more likely to be a small number of ultra HNW investors or insitutions but time will tell.

Being cynical - could it have been leaked deliberately ?

During the year ended 31 March 2018, the application of a new product specific code from the U.S. Centres for Medicare & Medicaid Services ("Medicare") for PulseFlowDF by Diabetic Boot was rejected. As management expects Medicare to require additional clinical data and justification of product need in the US market before granting a code, there is no definite timeline to do so. In addition, in view of the recurring operating losses of Diabetic Boot, the Directors of the Company consider that indicators of impairment existed in respect of the investment in Diabetic Boot and accordingly, an impairment loss of £347k has been recognised in profit or loss for the Company's interests in Diabetic Boot for the year ended 31 March 2018.

Jaber- if you had taken the time to read and consider the article carefully you will have noted that is 100% supports what I have said.

The CEO in question was 'approached' by a MM in connection with a Placing to cover his short position. Note the term 'was approached'.

So if you alleging that Phe Placings have been to support MM running naked short positions then Phe, KA, the BOD must all be complicit in that, because they too would of been approached by the MM.

So, as I said before, if you want to back what must be a crooked BOD under your scenario that's up to you but please stop your whingeing and your excuses for your own woeful investment decision.

If MM short selling is so rife and the AIM market so corrupt, why invest on it, that's your choice.

Sprog - If there was any truth in your allegations, Phe would have to be implicated as they approve all Placings and set the agenda as to why they are required.

As I have said before AIM publishes a weekly list of the most heavily shorted stocks and Phe has never appeared on it. If you had even the first clue about short selling you would know that Phe does not meet any of the key criteria to make it a target.

If you wish to introduce algorithms to block any dissenting views to the consensus of a bunch individuals who have seen their investment collapse I suggest the quickest way to achieve that would be for you to relocate to Russia or The Peoples Republic of China.

If I were you I would looking more closely at the comments and announcements made by your beloved KA over the last 3 years. Footsie 100 within 4 years - how irresponsible is that.

Newboy - you need to understand- this has nothing to do with short sellers, it is long term holders worried that the game is up and they are taking cover and grabbing what they can.

Mr Telephoneman- your 'buy-to-let' analogy is totally inapplicable.

Buy to let loans are secured against the underlying property with a safety margin built in represented by the borrowers contribution to the cost of the property. In the event that the borrower does not met the interest payments the bank simply seizes the property and sells it .

What good is a Mousetrap top a bank or any other lender for that matter if Phe cannot met the loan repayments and which of course will be due to the Mousetrap failing to generate free cash flow.

The technology has no intrinsic value because it is not protected.

Newboy- whilst I have sympathy about Wazza's plight I also have mixed feelings about him as he was unashamedly ramping this stock with an endless barrage of largely spurious blue sky comments.

I think you should accept that negative comments are just as valid as positive ones - neither shape the long term success of any company but they are valuable to provide different views.

I first started posting here to persuade Wazza to re-think his position- had he followed my view he would be circa £350,000 better off and if he still liked Phe's chances he could buy back in now and probably get 15+% of the company.

Investing is a long game and sometimes it is better to get out and sit on the sidelines even if you think the long term prospects are good

With £15,000 invested here you should have a portfolio of circa £250,000 given the risk and therefore even a complete wipe out would not hurt you too badly. If you are trying to hit a home run, that's fine, we all do it at times but please don't blame others when you caught in the outfield.

Well with enquiries coming in on a weekly basis and still no interested party in commissioning / funding the first Mousetrap surely these enquiries are more of a negative than a positive.

Its all spin anyway and I suspect KA will soon be facing a barrage of angry shareholders, particularly Placees about some of his comments

Newboy58 - don't blame the apparent failure of your investment in Phe on others.

For teh record I have not traded and nor have I made a penny on this stock- hopefully though I may have caused some to consider more carefully Phe as an investment opportunity.

There have been so many danger signals over the years, I have just been amazed at the loyalty shown to KA and shareholders willing to shrug off every piece of bad news.

Who knows, it may still come good, but if were holding this paper I know what I would do.

All sounds like a load of old flannel to me foxm, and well done for selling out when you did. KA email also refers to several enquiries regarding a mobile version of the 3 TPD to handle hazardous waste commercially.

I am beginning to think the guy is seriously out to lunch.

Clearly a lot punters are viewing this as the last rights with any avenues to any potential funding now looking blocked.
