NHS signing up for pills:
NHS Rolls Out Olumiant to Treat Hospitalized COVID-19 Patients
The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) has announced that it is rolling out Eli Lilly’s arthritis drug Olumiant (baricitinib) to treat hospitalized COVID-19 patients
The NHS said in a statement that it is “proven to save lives” as the rollout is backed by data from the RECOVERY trial which found that 13% fewer severely ill patients died of COVID when treated with Olumiant compared to existing treatment options
“It is fantastic that NHS patients are now able to access this highly effective treatment for COVID. Our world-leading national effort to identify new drugs to treat this virus continues as we add this game-changing medicine, baricitinib, to our arsenal,” added Health and Social Care Secretary Sajid Javid
U.S. Beefs Up COVID-19 Treatment Availability
The U.S. will be increasing access to Pfizer’s oral COVID-19 antiviral, Paxlovid (nirmatrelvir and ritonavir), announced U.S. President Joe Biden
The government committed to purchase 20 million treatment courses and the Biden administration worked with Pfizer come up with a plan to expedite the delivery of Paxlovid
Key actions of the U.S.’s plan include nearly doubling the number of places where oral antivirals are available in the coming weeks, launching a new effort to stand up federally-supported Test-to-Treat sites, supporting medical providers with more guidance and tools to understand and prescribe treatments, and communicating to the American people that safe, effective treatments are widely available
My average is 2.2 - wish I had some firepower to avg. down! With such a low market cap it won't take much positive news, particularly if a blue chip jvs, to get this motoring. Sub 2p a great entry price whilst it lasts!
A small write up in FT Weekend on copper... echoing a lot of what has been previously said. Prices at USD10,232 per ton which is past the peak of 2011 previous commodity boom.
Saying analysts and industry execs believe we could get to USD15,000 per ton in 2025 (so 50% up)... and just about the time we should be really moving a lot of earth.
Also a quote "there are only a few large projects in development, whole most of the easily produced copper has already been mined".
"The current pipeline of projects likely to start producing in the next few years represented only 2.3% of forecast mine supply.....this is well down on previous cycles, including 2010-13 when it reached 12%". That was a quote for analyst at ANZ.
I agree it's a good looking presentation and furthers the GGP case well.
What I am not sure on is why release before results which could then make some of the models out of date. It is because of this I don't expect upgrade to MRE tonight, because otherwise it would behoove GGP to wait a few additional days and have latest data for their overview.
Agreed Paul, this is the name of the game with exploration. It's about building a picture. These are early days with the site and we have found resources (some at good grade) which will help to triangulate for further hopefully positive results.
Having own lab will surely ensure there is a more reliable stream of news going forward which will be key to ensuring confidence and an evolving SP
Different parts of the life cycle - many bags potential here, maybe (hopefully) even within this year - but highly risked. GGP are more proven up, growth is longer term focused but as de-risked as an explorer can be (particularly from their current shareprice).
My hope is that now there has been a high amount of churn in the circa 20 level, hands should be stickier and holders longer term which will support moving through the resistance levels.
Last time we were going to 20p plus a larger number of holders could have been (understandably) cashing out on many bags in pocket. Less the case now with more holders with base line near current level.
It's just a very frustrating time given a lack of meaningful shareprice movement, particularly on the back of a weak couple of months. I think it leaves everyone hungry for a nugget (!) of some info. Plenty of news to come through March. Just reminding myself Rome not built in a day and patience with GGP has always been rewarded!
He can't just sell a company off like that though, why would the board and shareholders a low proposal. Particularly with SD saying the focus is 5 years and a multi billion company, growth and shareholder value. I think there are too many smoke and mirrors in your supposition.
