If we can put the merger to one side as to if it is good/bad/ugly (I know that’s hard to do right now)....

But do I understand this correctly? If you buy CERP at 1.6pps that means if the deal goes through you effectively get BPC shares at 2.0p?

I’m not debating if that’s a good or bad idea just is my logic correct?

So on the back of what I feel is a positive RNS we have seen as much volume before lunch that we did in the whole of Friday and Monday. The price hasn’t really moved at all (0.2p) so I would imagine there has been some dripping of sales of new shares.

Thanks JB that makes sense I did wonder about that. In which case the swings of 0.4p in short succession are likely to be caused by a lack of trading volume impacting the price then. Either way; staying solid at 3p bodes well as we move forward with multiple positive RNS’s to follow as we move through the summer

Glad to be back on the BB after a few months away where we have been treading water in the post covid wake; looks like things are starting to fall into place and some positive SP signs over the last week or so.

Those contributors on the board giving their wealth of experience highlighting both sides of the coin is much appreciated by those of us with not able to stay as close to the information or probe as deeply.

I think we are in a great place right now, stronger than ever and my question is this..... since the introduction of the new shares last week it’s clear the investors are not selling everything in one go. It appears the price is being held at 3p and I wondered if anyone felt this was because the investors were slowly bleeding their 120m shares into the market every time we hit 31p dropping us back down to 2.8p?

Then new money is coming in to buy them up at 2.8p pushing us back up above 3p before selling occurs again, rinse and repeat.....

If this is the case then to me that’s great news as the 120m shares will be absorbed on the back of strong buying giving us a nice platform at 3p to push on from when the shares have been sold.

Anyone agree?

How much stock last placed at 2p and how much is left to be placed? Surely this will continue to hold the price down as will the CLA at 3.5p until it’s all played out. Assuming the drill continues as we expect only when the low priced stock is issued can we see the big so rises?

Someone spooked this afternoon, 6 million shares sold just before close and a 1.9m undefined trade likely a sell. Explains the drop

This share keeps getting pulled back despite the majority of people thinking we are moving to 6/7/8p then on to double figures for spud.

I guess we will have to wait until Monday/Tuesday to see the RNS but normally the news leaks and we see a movement one way or the other in advance.

If it is bad news and the so drops 30/40/50% then it becomes a long term hold whilst a new drilling timetable is pulled together.

On balance my view remains that the MM’s ultimately are trying to make as much profit as possible so it’s in their interest to push the spread as far as possible (human nature and I have no issue with it)

Evening all, I’m buoyed by the optimism and agree we are due some RNS news very soon, lots to put in place given the tight timescales which should coincide with regular news updates.

Whilst I think the price will rise Imho the drawdown on the CLA will keep the price at a ceiling for a while. I have no idea what that is but once that’s played out we should continue to rise up to the spud date (and hopefully beyond!)

I think a number of you are missing the standing what I am saying/asking with regards to coronavirus and the license.

I am not expressing an opinion on whether the response to coronavirus is proportionate or not, the answer is relatively moot; The market is what the market is until it is no longer.

The question I have posed is if a delay occurs beyond our expected spot date in April is this going to Cause us a problem and thus the potential for a significant SP reduction? I have seen one response that suggests Some ambiguity in the use of the license with an exploratory drill.

Does anyone else have a view on this? (And I don’t mean a view on whether coronavirus will be a problem!)

Thanks Keith and I agree the world keeps turning..... my question was specific though. If the virus, or anything else for that matter, causes a delay when does our license become a problem (or does it not?)

Amidst the drops people are understandably looking to top up, myself included. One nagging concern I have is if Coronavirus delays the drill in April have we got a licence that will then expire and put the drilling at risk?

Hi all, first time caller here so please play nice!

Firstly thanks to all on the board, great opinions and information as part of my DYOR. I have been following BPC and this board for 6 months or so and have a decent holding from 2p. This journey is exciting and has the potential for a huge win!

I’m not hugely experienced in share dealing so this is new territory. I wonder if someone could advise of the likely impact of the CLN that suggests 35m shares drop into the market on 13th March? Is that likely to drop the SP for a time?
