Its walked up and down to maintain a market and attract volume ie commission. If someone comes direct to the market maker offering to buy a large amount below the market price the market maker will take the SP down to trigger sellers . It's a market and therefore many ways to encourage trade.

Of course anything could happen in these miserable times. Vaccines are our only hope at the moment and this is preventing total meltdown. However nothing has changed regarding fundamentals in the business so regardless of froth I will hold. I'm lucky I can hold as long as it takes.
