Thanks. It appeared to me that SIMEC International are under financial investigation for falsifying invoices . Will watch again. SIMEC is a tainted name now though.

If someone is aggressively shorting this then they are not doing a proper job. Volume is listless as is the SP as we drift in a vacuum of slow news.

Mentioned Simec International under investigation for financial irregularities. Are they the parent company of SAE ? I can't work out the relationship.

Well to me it looks like he has increased the shares owned but his overall % of has been reduced. Very odd. His holdings in May 105,153,334 , today posted as 105,756,961. Totally baffled.

Hi Faulkes. I am by no means an expert on banking. But what is see is a company acquiring 500,000 new customers with a portfolio of £40 billion. I'm not as pessimistic about life expectancy going forward as I believe vaccines will prevail. So for me it is a lucrative market that can be exploited. One thing that stands out for me is that more people are taking money out of company pensions and looking for a home for their pot of money. The opportunities is investment management is huge in my opinion.

longtimeinvestor. I think this is more important than the dividend news but then again given the size of my investment my pay out is in the 100's not the 1000's so perhaps my motivation is different to others. With respect to due diligence you would hope previous whoppers have been learnt from?

That nobody has mentioned the acquisition of Embark. This is great news for shareholders. It gives Lloyd's a sizeable footprint in the Fintech world and enriches its product portfolio. Great news and very very important.
