It is quite interesting this board. So the drills are good - the resource is being proven up - on the face of things a lot of very positive noises are coming out of both sides of the development side - (and at a very senior level I hasten to add). GH is putting on a brave face, but here we sit, unable to break 1.9p and seemingly very little interest from any of the institutions. I fear for the next few days and would not be at all surprised to see a re-trace then a desperate RNS from GH to maintain 1.6p by the middle of next week. Just about everyone's response appears to be one of sit tight and wait - and no-one seems to be asking the question why this is not moving. Anyone who comes along and offers up the contrarian view get shot down, abused or brandished a "trader" and then there is the usual grumbling about the MMs. Some would call this kind of behavior rainbow chasing, but I'm interested in why this is not moving. I don't seem to be hearing many genuinely compelling reasons as to why this won't budge.

Not a lot of buying volume would be my observation - a few 345 quids ain't going to move the dial.

no - usually you look to shore up what you know and work gradually away from that... larger step out holes increases the risk of firing blank.

Quite - nice to see some decent gurth in the new holes here. None of this veiny stuff nor “surface nuggets” which seemed to tickle the price up recently. These are good solid thick slabs. Good results once again but still not enough to muster a semi. baffling:

Understand that - 30% is still material - but the chances of find another such juicy asset are slim. We’re talking chicken’s lip slim.

I’d ask for more about the the board’s eagerness to do a ( ****) deal here. They’ve sold ~70% of their assets for 10million or so. Then raised more or less 1/2 in a new raise. Meanwhile Newcrest have just purchased a Canadian mine for hundreds of million further down the development pipe. Now the two are not the same in terms of asset maturity and scale but you get my drift.

I'd be tempted to wait a couple of weeks and you'll get 1.5 again.

... or to take the contrarian view, no RNS and an inevitable -1% per, day taking is back to the new level in the 1.7s
