RE: Big Al : How Much Of His own Money Has He Invested in AVACTA?5 Jan 2021 17:57
Agreed, but I also don’t think there’s ever been a risk of reputational damage. WaffAl has always been aware of the performance levels needed and that’s why the dribble test never saw the light of day and I wouldn’t be surprised if it never does. The same might yet be true of the AN version, there’s no reputational damage in walking away - Sequoia Flooring invested for the oncology. Ultimately, he’s played a blinder, the worse case is it gets shelved and they’re sat on a cracking cash pile for oncology.
More realistically, BAMS will come through and be a part of an ongoing national strategy due to the lower costs, the AN test should outperform others due to the wonder of affimers and it’s then purely down to manufacturing capacity to find out how much of a cash cow it becomes. Who knows, rather than awaiting a takeover, Awacta end up on the acquisition trail.
