Yup and again it’s disadvantaged due to the uneven samples. I’m increasingly convinced that it’s the difficult dribble version. The redacted name can only be a listed company making an LFD in the U.K. Who else would care? WaffAl has made particular reference to results being commercially sensitive and I reckon he only wants to be the best - even if it’s not far behind and has huge advantages in ease of use. However, the govt clearly now want a standard sample method LFD manufactured on standard equipment. It’s then a level playing field for battle of the reagents with affimers well placed given the comments from the recent deals saying they outperform antibodies and aptamers.

That aside, a great piece of work showing how effective LFDs can be as part of track and trace. It’s happening people.... won’t be long... just in time for summer

Sage’s posts are exceptionally balanced, he corrected himself for being glass half full rather than half empty even though it’s technically the same. As discussed, the sample sizes were uneven so it’s difficult to directly compare. Also given the timings that was probably the saliva version. The tender process allows for manufacturers to submit alternative sample types. As mentioned in this thread, who cares though, they’ll buy whatever they want when they want it

Mina also quotes loads equivalent to Ct<25 as being a sensible cut off, but Innova performs well so the differentiator has to be ease of use to ensure it works in the real world by anyone i.e. AN / Saliva Vs brain & tonsil tickling.
