Quite simply, we don’t know. We’ve had some great guesses and the change to developing an AN test certainly ties up well with govt plans. We need to be updated on each version, exactly what the steps are, who is responsible and where we’re up to. I don’t mind a delay if I’m aware of the reasons behind it, but a delay to a saliva test due to the development of an AN version came out of nowhere.

I agree with both replies, you’re right mowser, I’m sure there’s still tweaking and Agent, I’m sure the saliva version hasn’t been binned - but there’s nothing worse than a pet project, if an AN version now ticks all boxes they should focus on that and get it out there.

We were told this:

So, there are apparently 3 steps... A performance evaluation, a clinical study and full clinical validation

We were never given the clear steps and timescales to market and it appears to change every time they decide to update us. It's difficult to tell how much of the above is govt led or if it's private. The above was on the 23rd November, it's now Feb and we're still none the wiser.

I voted against them as it's not clear why they need the money, if they set out a coherent business plan that provided me as a shareholder the information to make an informed decision then I would consider it. For example, if they suggested the money would buy X machines to meet Y confirmed demand then I'd be happy to vote for them. As things stand, it's just another sweetener for the those in the recent dilution that have already done very well for themselves. Yes, the company will end up with additional cash in the bank, but if there's no current plan for it. Why not wait for the inevitable rise in price you've described, develop a plan and raise with less dilution. Incidentally, the rise in price is likely to be linked to confirmed orders which would negate the need for raising additional cash.

Absolutely jdt. Of the recent deals, I really liked this one as it was a number of parties digging in to their pockets based on the potential. Wiki suggests 10-30%, so at 20% they now have a joint venture worth $36.5m. Not bad for a days work.

Googling ‘series a financing’ (I’m an expert at googling don’t you know) brings back a few good links that are a nice read. It’s a really positive step. Obviously exceptionally early days but nowt to grumble at.
